I recently ordered the undisputed era three pack from ringside and my Bobby Fish from the set has the rattle coming from inside the torso, how do you guy handle this when it happens to your figures , and is there nothing ringside can do to help ? I understand it has a no return policy if the item is open but it sucks to practically be stuck with a broken figure .

I’ve always referred to them as “shakies”. It bothered me when I was a little guy and played with them, but I don’t see the issue if they are merely being displayed.

I HATED this when i was younger, it bothered me so much that i used to always do an 'angle' where any figure with that rattle would 'get injured' and likely never be used again. It happened with my Cyber Sunday Face Paint Jeff Hardy, i got it out of the box, played with it for 1 day then one Superplex later, the rattle happened and his arm was crazy loose. Also happened with a custom wrestler i made so i ended up putting him on commentary.
The only proper way to get rid of it would probably be to crack the torso, find the broken piece and take it out, which isn't the easiest thing but i don't think there's another way. Though for me i was lucky, when my custom wrestler got the rattle, a couple months later i did a thing where commentary got attacked, the rattle was still there but when i slammed it, it must have got lodged somewhere because it went away. After this, the articulation didn't change at all and the rattle was fully gone. I wouldn't recommend it, but maybe play with it, slam it a bit and it might get lodged somewhere.

It’s typically the little plastic disc used to buffer the joints and, yeah, cracking the torso is your only option to remove it.

Of the most annoying things to deal with. Sometimes the figures come like that straight out the package and eventually end up with a broken arm. My entrance greats Goldberg came like that.

As long as the arms don't break off like Jakks figs did you should be good. For Jakks RA's it was usually a sign the arm had broken already and soon would fall off.

That is unfortunate. You can shake the figure around and try to get the piece lodged into another spot. This has worked for me before but your best bet is to torso crack and remove the piece. I had this happen to 2 hacksaw legends right out of the package years ago. And 1 I purchased on ebay had the same issue.

Wear earplugs or play some loud music. Other than cracking a torso there’s no way to remove it.

Man I hate when this happens. Bought an E45 Rollins who’s arm would not go back. Eventually I forced it back but his arm became extremely loose and a rattle could be heard from the torso. Didn’t know how to fix it so I bought a loose one from eBay who’s arm also had this problem lol.

With all the King’s horses and all the King’s Men, I was able to use the rest of the figure for spare parts. I’m not a Mattel surgeon.
