With the first-ever Alpha pay-per-view event - Hunted - only three weeks away, the superstars of PSI stake their claim for the brand's top title; The PSI Championship. But who rose to the occasion and emerged as potential contenders? And who will be left reassessing their path to the top?

Just as a side note, I've decided to take a bit of a different approach to this fed. I want to try to pump out weekly shows to keep the storylines going between each pay-per-view. The shows will be sort of like short summaries of each segment, while each match at the pay-per-view will have its own thread; where I'm going to have more pictures (as well as a lengthier match write-up). In the meantime, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the first show! |

I like this style a lot! Super easy to get through and builds well towards the PPV. I love the roster you've got going. Been a while since I've seen Edge in the main event scene of a fed so I'm looking forward to seeing his progression. Your photography is super clean as well, and the lighting/string work are really nice too! Your posing is a little stiff though, just try to use all the joints to make them as dynamic as possible but other than that I loved all the shots! You'll definitely improve over time, mine absolutely sucked when I was starting out so you're way ahead of where I was. One other thing I would say is it'd help if you added a few more figures into the crowd, even if you could find a super cheap lot of random figures online and give them some signs it would help the arena out a lot. It just looks a bit odd when Edge is setting up for the spear and you can just see Mark Henry standing in the background haha. Other than that I loved it, great job Alpha! Looking forward to more! |

It's pretty easy to keep up to date as well. I just figure it would give any readers a bit of a feel as to who is heel and face, who is feuding with who and whyI love the roster you've got going. Hey man, i love this idea. Doing short summary results for weekly episodes and making the pay per views feel bigger. I may borrow (STEAL!) this concept when I return. Lol Keep up the good work, man. Liked this episode a lot.

If i had to make a suggestion, in addition to the text explaining what happens, i'd maybe put 3 or 4 photos in. 1 pic for each of their entrances, a match pic then a finish pic.
Love that Poetry In Motion picture though.
I'm still trying to decide how i'm doing my brand shows, i was thinking of the show intro, then small highlights of each match and mainly highlighting the high spots or segments, but not sure yet.

Hey Harper! Thanks for checking out the show. I've already shot and edited photos for the first episode of the other brand's show which I'll put up a little later (I'm aiming for Thursday evening North American time), but I really like your idea of doing a couple of extra photos. I'll definitely look into implementing that idea heading forward (probably after I actually get a stage constructed, that is. I got too keen to start the fed up so that part is still a work in progress  ). Thanks for your props on the poetry in motion. It was probably my favourite shot of the show too, I was really happy with how that string work came out. Yeah I think the short highlights format works well if you're wanting to pump out shows regularly (that is, more than once a month). I was thinking of perhaps incorporating a show intro (at least a pyro) for my pay-per-views because I've played around with firework effects in After Effects before; but I feel like adding video into the mix will leave me with no excuse to not transition over into doing video uploads instead of written, and I kind of prefer the written medium. Plus I guess I'd rather not let this new hobby become too much of a time commitment too quickly haha. Definitely keen to see what form you end up going with. There are a few different formats around, so you might be able to draw inspiration from a few different places |
