I’ve not seen any of this set in stores. Luckily I was able to get Jake and Steamboat from Walmart’s site. Those were my main wants from the set. If I stumble across the other 2 I may pick them up, but I’m not gonna go out of my way searching. I’ll happily help out other board members if I do see them though.

I have 15 Walmarts within 20 miles. 1 of the 15 got a case of Series 3 and someone bought all 8. 3 of the Walmarts have been on zero since the series released and none have restocked.

I live in Las Vegas and have been checking 2-3 Walmart’s Dailey since they started hitting stores and haven’t seen them at all. Not once

Great so its even worse than i thought. Remember when people thought these exclusive lines would be a good thing overall ? Side note, Walmart might win the award at the worst store for exclusives this year. Target I have been able to get all nxt and hall of champion figures pretty easily this year to my surprise. If they purge out all those rusev and reigns nxt figures before the new sets come out that would be awesome. |

There isn’t much I am looking forward to from the line anymore but Race and Steamboat were 2 major wants. This set is nowhere near me so obtaining these figures is not likely. I’ll get Ronda and them I’m pretty confident that’ll be the end for me. It has to end some time, right?

I actually got lucky ,the 7 Walmarts I went to when the time the we're hitting found one race and that was it .now just few Austin's here and there .and he is a well done figure .one of my favorite figures now .and yes I opened him I leave nothing MOC 😎

Since Christmas is right around the corner you probably going to find a load of them Walmart don't want to miss out on any money Ill give it to around December and you'll be seeing them popping up everywhere.

I don't believe they have ever hit southern California...ya know, the place where Mattel is headquartered! This whole exclusive retail thing is a joke, especially if there is insufficient supply to purchase online (on Walmart's website). I have been tracking the series on Brickseek for two months and have made countless visits to Walmart...nothing. Might resort to eBay if I can't find Jake this week.

The only one I have a hard time finding it Jake Roberts. Ive been to 5 different Wal-Mart's and all I end up finding is series 2. Each store keeps getting shipments of series 2.

I haven't seen them in the two Walmart's I always visit which is odd cause they had all the other earlier series real early, they were super easy to find
I went to one of the Walmart's the other day and they had more syxx and warriors back in stock regular price but a month earlier they got rid of the old ones 75 percent off

Major bummer with distribution, short packing Harley,etc. . Piss poor planning on Mattel and Walmart’s end, haven’t found a single one in Philly.

I haven't seen the JJ Basics yet either. Most of the Walmarts that were flooded with the HBH wave have started to move those figures. I'm down to seeing about two of each or so from that wave outside of Shawn, who seemed to move right away. So hopefully I'll have a chance for Harley here shortly over the next month or two. I've had an easy time finding all of these figures at Walmart up until recently. So hopefully it gets back to that come the first of the year.

Posted this in the Southern California findings thread, but thought it might help (?) some here too:
After probably two dozen trips to various Wal-Marts over the past two months, I gave up on Elite Flashback Series 3 and ordered Jake on eBay for $33 (not a bad deal!). I was holding out for the excitement of finding him on a store shelf, but life is too short and travel is dangerous (mogwai).
The last straw was last night / this morning - I scoped out the Torrance Wal-Mart two weeks ago, and they said their next shipment would come in 11/28. Sure enough, the Brickseek count jumped from 52 to 60 around 9pm last night (when new inventory is brought out). But no site of any new Flashback inventory (not even Series 2, which is warming hard at that location) last night or this morning - I even checked the boxes on the palettes! I asked the manager (Christy) about it this morning, and she seemed familiar with the new series but said it had not yet come in. She also said someone else has been checking frequently, but no luck. There were actually other customers at Walmart at 6am this morning, talking about the series and the inventory issues!
This is not the first time I have seen the numbers jump by 8 but nothing to show for it - have encountered this at the Burbank, Panorama, and Norwalk locations. So something is up with their inventory counts. I don't think it's rogue managers hawking the items on eBay, b/c the issue is so rampant across multiple stores and even if they were re-selling them, the inventory counts should then drop by 8 again (when they are purchased), but they aren't (unless they're straight up stealing them for absolute profit...).
If anyone's interested, below are the inventory counts I've tracked on Brickseek across various locations. Some of the numbers seem much higher than actual inventory on shelf, but any actual matching inventory is ALWAYS Series 2 (no signs of Elite Series 1 or 3).
Also if you are still dedicated to the hunt, Norwalk is SUPPOSED to receive a new shipment of the Elite Flashback SKU (629287047) tonight, but no telling if it's Series 3, Series 2, or some fake-out like in Torrance. So I would recommend saving your time and (gas) money - just buy on eBay. Who knows, maybe Series 3 will flood the shelves in a month or two, but after reading the most recent thread, it sounds like this line may have had its legs cut off.
