It's still pretty early though. Patience has to pay off sometimes, right? Have there been other Walmart exclusives that really cost a lot on the secondary market now?

Dont overpay for these ... they’ll be around Exactly. Series 2 is clogging shelves all over this state and I can see why barely any Walmart stores are getting these in yet. Give it some time and you will see this set everywhere in a few months when most Walmart stores have room (or clearance Series 1 and 2). It was still a bad decision to short pack a "First Time in the Line" character such as Harley Race and that obviously makes this situation a disaster for us collectors that live in areas with a lot of other collectors and scalpers. |

I got my 2 Ricky’s on WM’s website. I have yet to see any at stores. Heck, my closest WM just filled their pegs full of Ellsworth’s and Cass’.

I haven't seen the JJ Basics yet either. Most of the Walmarts that were flooded with the HBH wave have started to move those figures. I'm down to seeing about two of each or so from that wave outside of Shawn, who seemed to move right away. So hopefully I'll have a chance for Harley here shortly over the next month or two. I've had an easy time finding all of these figures at Walmart up until recently. So hopefully it gets back to that come the first of the year. The JJ basics have been hanging around one of my Walmarts for awhile. I think they got 3 cases in all at once. Elite FB hit the other Walmart and I bought all 4. Only thing left is a Steamboat now though. |

Take with a grain of salt...
I went to a Walmart near me today that only got Flashback Series 1 and has been sitting on ZERO on Brickseek for 3 months. I gave a manager the SCU and asked if he could possibly order more of the product. He looked it up in his little handheld system and said that SKU is no longer available for them to order.
That begs the question... when was the last time someone saw a Brickseek jump for these?

It's been over a month since I've seen Flashback Elite movement in my area on Brickseek. I was trying to hunt down a Harley for my neighbor, but I was never able to secure it. I've seen a total of five FSE3 cases of it hit; I was only able to score a Harley at the last two (one for me, one for a friend in the UK). Never seen them again since. =\

I'm surprised we got 3 series of HoC and FB elites in a span of a year, NXT didn't even do that, btw isn't it time for new NXT elites? actually we did. Nxt 1 came out June 2017, nxt 2 October 2017, nxt3 Jan 2018. 6 months surprisingly |

I try to help others in the hobby, people that use this as a side business to rip people off, are pathetic.
There are some good people that run businesses, don’t get me wrong, but the ones that buy up all the inventory at the store and are on some sort of assistance because they dont want to actually work, are the main problem.
Also, Mattel distribution is asinine.

 I have had enough of this terrible distribution- this is ridiculous, it should not be this hard to find a friggin' toy?!? Distribution should not be an issue in this day and age- especially with a big toy conglomerate like Mattel. I was hoping to pick up Steamboat from this set but like others I am still waiting for it to hit stores. If by some miracle it does get released (I am thinking perhaps January when WM does their reset), I am snatching up Steamboat and calling it a day. |

You need 4 figures to make the build the entire thing. I am going to call that a big heaping pile of bullcrap. They had to actually spend money on making a completely new figure. The other 3 are mostly reused figure/parts. So thats why he is short packed, that and they don't care. They knew people want new figures of people mattel has never made before. |

Are these extremely rare? Yes, yes they are, considering most of us can't find them anywhere.
I knew I'd have absolutely no chance at my Wal-Marts so I overpaid for them on the bay when the came out ... suddenly paying $55 for Harley looks like a steal!
