He should face Sting IMO because any one else will be a let down compared to the legend sting Racist Jogn Cena

Cena vs Bryan is making sense in the future, maybe Cena will challenge Bryan at Mania for the Title? Lol he'll finally break Flair's record plus get his win back from SummerSlam.

It's a good question, Samoa Joe probably makes the most sense at this point in which would be a genuinely stellar grudge match. The build and the Match would be really entertaining, and nobody would really feel as though Cena is taking somebody's spot higher up the card.

I could see them actually putting him against Lesnar tbh for a redo of their summer slam match? Story of him going for the record title win. And because it's been done many times. And I don't think they're taking the title off Lesnar until Reigns is ready to come back, or they definitively Know he can't. So instead of sacrificing a different guy to Brock, it's just Cena in a really basic match. Hopefully I'm wrong. |

Or knowing WWE it wouldn't surprise me if they do Cena/Orton for the millionth time but Cena/Orton have never had a match against each other at Mania. Furthermore, if Cena/Orton does happen at Mania it wouldn't surprise me and you have the history that goes as far back as 2002 since they were in the same OVW class.

Hopefully I'm wrong. 1) I don't think Cena's going to want to get thrown around like that again at this point in his career 2) Reigns is expected to be out 2+ years, I doubt they'll keep the title on Lesnar for that long 3) When Lesnar drops the title, it will probably be in a triple threat match where he doesn't get pinned |

Randy Orton. He has targeted Hardy and Rey so maybe he wants to finish Cena once and for all. I actually really like this idea. It is like Orton is doing his Legend Killer gimmick all over again with a fresh reboot. I don't think putting anyone over Cena these days fast tracks them. Gone are the days where John Cena is a guy who pinning his shoulders to the mat makes you an instant star. So, since Cena feuding with someone doesn't really have the ability to get someone over the same way anymore, I think it stands to reason you put him with a guy who doesn't need that rub. I think it could be an emotional, explosive feud with Cena and Orton, It could make for an interesting mania match. I like the idea of the top of the card being : Becky V Ronda Brock v Rollins Bryan v Miz Triple H v Batista Cena v Orton Taker v whomever Those 6 matches have marquee value to me as a fan. |

Joe has been damaged immensely as the guy who can’t get the job done when it counts. Don’t think he’s going to get that chance against Cena unfortunately.

Cena is becoming a box office draw in Hollywood now so whoever faces him will probably be someone just as huge but who?
I mean there are actors like him like The Rock or Batista they can get to face Cena who is just as big a star as them now in Hollywood especially now
Or they will probably get someone like McIntyre or Lashley or hell they could even get Daniel Bryan to face John Cena
