So long story short, I bought a cheap figure lot about 6 months ago. One of the figures included was a Series 1 Hulk Hogan that was in terrible shape (missing fingers, covered in dirt and the paint was obliterated.) A few days ago I got bored and decided to try to fix the figure up. While comparing it to another Series 1 Hogan I noticed the boots/trunks weren't the same shade of yellow. Some quick research revealed to me that there was a JCpenney exclusive Hogan with a richer shade of yellow for his boots. It came bundled with a ring along with a Randy Savage. My question is... Is the figure I have the JCpenney Hogan? Obviously it's not worth more than 35 cents. The left knee pad, hair and 'hulk rules' logo have almost been completely repainted. I wish I had taken a 'before' picture to show the original state of the figure, but at the time I just assumed it was just an average series 1 hogan. Apologies for the bad iphone photo, the color difference is more noticeable in person.

Yeah that's what I figured, I'm not a serious hasbro collector, so apologies for the ignorant question.
