From WM34 weekend, the HoF had a lot of empty seats, partly because it was on the Friday and people were still coming in. Having TakeOver on Friday will probably mean more tickets sold to HoF on Saturday because more people will have arrived. Only inconvenience is they have to reset the ring between HoF.

Interesting. I prefer Takeover on Saturday, loved that they changed it, so meh on changing it back. But it is good for people who don't have to choose between Takeover and ROH/NJPW now, they can go to both.

This works for me. Now if they could just get the speeches down to 15 minutes each, we'd be golden.

This is a great move for anyone wanting to attend Takeover and the NJPW/ROH MSG show.

I was flirting with the idea of going to NXT in addition to WrestleMania. Moving it to Friday kind of throws a monkey wrench into that plan. It’d be much easier for me to get to Brooklyn on a Saturday as opposed to a Friday. Can still do it but a lot less convenient.

Hof belongs on the night before WM. Hopefully we won’t have wrestlers leaving throughout the show now

That'll work for this year, what about when SmackDown goes lives on Friday Nights?
In that case I would have the weekend look like this:
Hall of Fame on Thursday Night (make it a more intimate event again) SmackDown Friday Night TakeOver Saturday Night WrestleMania Sunday Night Raw Monday Night

As a purely sit at home viewer, I don't know what difference this makes at all. But okay.

Now if they could just get the speeches down to 15 minutes each *, we'd be golden. *= depending on who it is I mean this with all due respect, and I know it's their moment and all, but sometimes the speeches go far too long. I think respectfully asking them to keep it around 15, but not going ape-poop over a few extra minutes, is fine.

Heck if anything should be cut short, it should be the Warrior Award. I like Dana Warrior, I've heard shes a wonderful woman, but she should not be doing a 10-15 minute speech to induct the person on the Warrior Award. Just tall for 2-3 minutes, give the Warrior Award 10 minutes, done.

Tape a few matches for SD after the go home Raw. Then they just broadcasted directly from Axxess and used it as a hype show.

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they changed it back next year, providing ROH/NJPW, or wherever the Elite end up don’t run a show at the same time again. This definitely benefits those wanting to attend both. My snarky friends are saying it was done so nxt doesn’t have low attendance, but I couldn’t say for sure how that would end up.
