Though I'm mostly a retired gamer nowadays, video games were my life when I was younger and the characters and memories of my old favorites still mean a huge amount to me. Anyone who's seen my posts on this board will know I'm a massive fan of classic Mortal Kombat and I'm so happy we're finally getting high-quality classic MK figures from Storm Collectibles. And of course you have companies like NECA in recent years doing figures from Contra, as well as video game versions of Terminator, Robocop, etc. And Union Creative doing Arthur from Ghosts N Goblins. So it got me thinking this might make a good topic of conversation here:
What Classic Video Game characters/series' would you like to see made in figure form? I'm talking modern, high-quality collector figures here.
Here's mine:
Alex Kidd Alundra F-Zero (figures with scale cars!) Grand Theft Auto (GTA1, Vice City, San Andreas) Oddworld Streets Of Rage Tomba Tony Hawk's Pro Skater

I just want someone to make Metal gear figures. I know there have been many versions, but they are all stylized and only go about 3 characters deep.

Red Harlow from Red Dead Revolver John Marston from RDR Arthur Morgen from RDR2 Some new Assassins Creed figures Mad Max - with the V8 Interceptor. Batman Arkham Asylum - Mattel’s Multiverse is good, but I would love to see a full line I’m the 4”-5” scale.

The Last of Us Ellie and Joel are my most wanted figures. Aya from Parasite Eve is right there as well. I'd campaign for NECA on both counts.
I'd love more Metal Gear figures but McFarlane made a somewhat deep roster from MGS1 and 2. The Medicom figures are awesome but they're more like 6" statues than actual figures. So my biggest priority would be getting an articulated MGS3 Boss and then Quiet and Kaz from TPP by someone other than Play Arts.
Silent Hill 1-3 main characters.
New Castlevania figures since the NECA versions were were some of their rare misses imo. I think Diamond is making figures from the Netflix show and I'll take those for sure.
Hopefully we get Figuarts Guile here shortly. Loving those figures so far.

Darkstalkers:
Dmitri maximoff Victor Anakaris Hsien ko Jon talbain
Instead of WWE monsters, Mattel should've gotten the license to do darkstalkers figures

Everyone in Tyson's Punch out
Goldeneye
I'd like to see Wrestlefest in the same type of paint scheme as Neca does with their 8bit line
Tony Hawk pro skater is a good call

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater would be nice. I'd love to see Crash Bandicoot get an action figure line again. Streets of Rage would be awesome. Joe Musashi from Shinobi. Golden Axe Conker Duke Nukem

What was the original company that made Crash Bandicoot figures? Resaurus. On a related note (since the NECA Crash figures are styled from the remake), it annoys the hell out of me when toy companies make figures of classic video game characters, but only do them in a modern style based on the visuals of a recent game. I was so disappointed in Jakks World Of Nintendo line for focusing so strongly on modern-styled versions of characters, and never bothering to do the SNES-styled versions of those characters I was really hoping to see. Another example is I would be hugely disappointed if they announced a Streets Of Rage figure line, and then based them purely on the costumes and art style from the upcoming Streets Of Rage 4. I want my classic video game figures to be based on how the characters look in the classic games I remember, not modern games or remakes. Also talking again of Streets Of Rage, honestly I think that franchise has huge potential in terms of an action figure line, there was so many unique and cool looking characters.

Abadede that Ultimate Warrior inspired character might be a problem

As a kid, I remember wanting ClayFighter toys SO BAD.
Nowadays, just for the nostalgia - I would love a Bad Mr. Frosty statue or, my personal favorite characters - Taffy and Blue Suede Goo.

Indeed there were. JusToys made them around the time the game was out. But I want honest to God figures from NECA or someone else.
