I can accept that Mattel felt Harley wouldn’t sell well (even if this board disagreed), and decided to do a smaller number of him. What I can’t figure out though is why it would be included in a BAF line then... Just poor planning and decisions by them in that regard. Now there are groups of people that wanted two different figures that either don’t have them or the one they wanted has no arms... Both are available at least, without this line they wouldnt have been at all This is completely irrelevant. |

I still have yet to see any figures from this set in stores. All of the Walmarts near me are still flooded with series 2. I haven't seen any of the BAF JJ Dillon Basic figures either.

I didn't see any new stuff at my Walmart today. NO fan Central or anything. They have 3 full racks of Series 2 flashbacks filled that nobody wants.

No sign here in a long time. And I gave up looking as much as I was.
It's one of mine (and many others') most-wanted Flashback figures of the line but we can't even get it. It's a huge bummer.

This is the kind of sh*t that makes people lose interest ... it also doesn’t help that the “collectors” on this board won’t help out fellow collectors ... instead, they want to scalp the f*ck out of things just because they come on here and find out the distribution issues, so they want to make easy money ...
I make a good living and before anyone chimes in talking about supply/demand/ect ... this isn’t a supply and demand issue, it’s a distribution issue ... this set isn’t errmygawd rare on purpose. I guarantee you that there are loads of this set just sitting, waiting to be shipped out.
I’ve always helped out fellow board members find numerous “rare” figures and all that I’ve asked in return was cost plus whatever shipping method they’d prefer and do you know why ? Because they wanted to add to their collections ... nothing more.
They didn’t want it just to try and flip or resale it for a profit, because they have to use toys ... TOYS ... as a means of making money.
Now, I do understand that these are limited right this second, but don’t go around letting someone tell you that $100 + is a “deal” on stuff like this. I guarantee you that they’ll all will be available for those that truly want them, in the near future.
People really do make me sick sometimes.

I have to say that members of this board are super helpful and friendly with hunting different areas of the country. HydroX and @havok7179 have both helped me a bunch recently on HOC 2 and 3 finds. I also know that I am not the only one who gets helped out around here. Scalpers get a bunch of attention, but there are folks here helping each other too with little mention. |
