Mattel has screwed up the Retro line SO badly. I never once saw Series 4 on the West Coast -- looked for months -- and now it shows up at Five Below?

Mattel has screwed up the Retro line SO badly. I never once saw Series 4 on the West Coast -- looked for months -- and now it shows up at Five Below? In a perfect world they could somehow keep the line going and just send them straight to Five Below and the other discount places like them so we could keep getting them for five dollars to make them a truly Retro line right down to the price lol. At least the discount places seem to want to push them out on to the shelves as soon as they get them. |

Lol at the folks who paid 40+ on retro macho. Wouldn't be surprised if series 6 gets found there soon as well.

I picked up Rollins, Ambrose, and Goldberg already had AJ. Also got all of the Muscle series. I have every figure from series 1-3 and most of have been picked up on clearance or discount stores, besides the 1st wave. Hope this line can survive. Honestly I wish they'd ditch basics and have the retros replace them. I bet they'd sell better, and if they ditch the stupid stands the could get the retail price back to under 10 dollars.

Except all the Zombie series that have been found at Five Below made it to mass retail with multiple outlets and didn't sell. The same can't be said for the Retros. A handful made it to Target and that's it besides online specialty stores. Doesn't that mean the Retro line flopped even more? I don't think it flopped at all. Its been a confusing couple years though. Mattel did a horrible job distributing the line. series 1 and 2 were only available at Walmart then series 3 was only available at Target and Gamestop. Now series 4 and 5 were exclusive to Target but tons of collectors have never even seen them in Target, its been a complete disaster. This is why they are available at 5 below at the moment. Bill said starting in 2019 he believes the issues will be cleaned up and retros will be available in all stores. Also just saw Ringside wants $65.99 for series 8, definitely not flopping. |

Just found the full set of retros for zayn, flair, owens, and balor. Also had all the super 7 muscle figures. 5 below wins again!! Retros are 5 bucks muscle packs are 3 bucks Did they have any left or did you clean them out? |

I saw series three at 3 different 5 below’s in Philly. I bought the muscles online because the only store I found carrying them was the game stop on castor ave for 8 bucks a piece.

Someone else was buying these too while I was there though so I doubt these last long |

Just stopped at a Five Below near my work they had at least 30 retros in stock there. Series 3 and 4. I picked up 10. In all saved around $75 from retail and that's just crazy to me. Hoping to find New Day and Macho at another one soon.
