Retros at Five Below...Mattel needs to rush Diesel out before it's too late. Wave with Diesel, USA Luger, Double J, and add in any other Hasbro era guy in demand. Online sales would be through the roof, while Target stocks more S3. |

Decided to check my Five Below and they had all of series 3 (minus Ambrose) and a Charlotte from the superstars series, plus the Zombies. I made my first figure purchase in the last 12 years, as I picked up the 3 retros. My wife gave me her blessing to start collecting again, and I'm just sticking with retros. Not gonna lie, it feels pretty damn good. That's how I started last year. I've mainly stuck to that (with Retros) bought one WWE Elite, and a few other non-wrestling figures. Did listening to podcasts convince you to get back into it? When the retros came out, they peaked my attention. I had LJN's, but hasbros were the heart of my childhood. I've never stopped following figure lines and always checked out the new photos and releases. The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast definitely helped get me back into collecting. It's been great to reminisce about my old days of collecting through the podcasts, as the guys have similar stories and memories that I have. I kinda thought I'd get back into collecting in some form eventually. I have a good-sized man cave, but will need something bigger to display my collection. I have 20+ years of figures sitting in my mom's basement. When she hears that I bought a few figures, I can guarantee she'll ask me when I'm picking up everything in her basement! |

Been to three locations in Connecticut since the first find of these on Tuesday and all were completely sold out. Muscles and superstar dolls were still pretty available but everything else was gone. No sign of macho man or any series 5 around here. All were series 4.

No sign of macho man or any series 5 around here. All were series 4. I scooped up a Balor and Owens in Meriden yesterday thanks to your heads up! I checked out plainville as well, but they only had Zayn and KO. If you happen to see any other series of retros, please post. Still looking for a flair, plus anyone else with the exception of series 3 and 4. Thanks again! |

Surprised to hear that series has made it to discount stores - did they ever make it to Target nationwide rather than just a few random stores? Not around here, my Targets are still clogged with S3. The one across the street actually just put out a fresh case a month ago. Not a one has sold in months. Sad and pathetic. Why don't these stores get a clue and clearance this stuff and get new product? Or do they just not care? I guess toys are a very very small percentage of Target's business compared to all the consumables and electronics. Thanks for the info; I thought that might be the case since I’ve not seen much talk about them appearing at Target for a while. Strange that so much stock seems to have suddenly appeared at these discount stores - where have they been sitting all these months? Seems very odd for a business like Target (or whomever) to be operating. Seems they are moving quite briskly at Five Below at least (certainly the Flair and Savage figures) - how much lower is the price there compared to Target? Half the price, or are the Target figures even more overpriced? |

The second store only had about 8 AJs, so I passed on all of those. They also had a Paige die cast figure that I'd never seen in person.
So outside of finding an Ambrose, I've found all of series 3 & 4. Are we expecting to see series 5 there, or is this probably it for now?

Series 5 has turned up at 5 below already. Mine just got a case of 4 and 5 last night. Would you be able to grab any of the series 5 macho man figures. I'll pay u double for each one if they are on clean cards. Everything I've found at 5 below is in really good condition usually I didn't pick up the machos as the cards were pretty beat up and they were the hands down variant that I already have. If I come across any on good cards ill pm you. |

The only retro they had in mine was Sami and I bought him since I don't have him. Also got zombie Nakamura and Charlotte. I didn't expect to find anything new tbh so I was happy that I did.
