Since when did they stop shipping cases of series like the old days and start doing 8 random figures per box? My target got 4 dude loves in one box, 2 Roman's, 1 Braun, & 1 Sting. Another walmart got 2 Romans, 2 Brauns, 1 Rezar, 2 Dude Love's, & 1 Sting. This is absurd. Any info on this, is it just a christmas season thing? What's the deal? Thanks!

Bill says “ it’s what the stores ordered, I don’t control individual store distribution “

Bill says “ it’s what the stores ordered, I don’t control individual store distribution “ Lol That’s not what he meant. Stores or order when they order and order what ever amount they want, that’s what he was getting at. Stores dont order by the figure. Dude must of been short packed the first time or target distribution started breaking cases down before sending to stores, sort of what game stop and Walgreens do. Also, revision cases sometimes are wonky.

Is that why two different Wal-Mart's had like 8 Romans, 2 Brauns and no one else?

Probably a warehouse decision.

Distribution is such an ongoing drama. Anybody who says it’s not Mattel’s fault missed the point that it’s matteks problem. I’d happily buy HBK baf set if I could. I can’t so they lose that money. I dare say I’m one of many. They can bury their heads if they wish, but it’s costing them plenty of cash.

Just because they are silent does not mean they are holding themselves unaccountable. But there are blind loyalists on here that will defend them to the end, but who cares. All that matters is that distribution somehow gets fixed.

I was wondering about that too, a few weeks ago one of my Walmart's got the elite 62 in, I was there when the worker was taking them out the box and putting them on the hooks.
I was happy to finally get the dude love and sting but all that the Walmart got from series 62 was
One set of aop 5 or 6 roman's And 2 Braun's
I doesn't make any sense why wouldn't they get atleast one full set
Went yesterday and the roman's were still there

Just when you think mattel can't get any worse... I thoight he said it was in a Walmart not the Mattel store?!? Mattel wouldnt randomly ship stuff without being asked for it, no matter how much people want to believe Walmarts distribution is Mattels fault, its just not, they probably had a load of overstock in a warehouse somewhere, and offered it to retailers, Walmart bought it, how can it be Mattels fault?

I brought this topic up a few weeks ago when my Target got HOC2 Tamoso and Kane only from a case..... Guess people are finally noticing what I'm saying.

It is possible that these mixed cases are unsold online stock being distributed

And clearly the line sold well if nobody is finding even a Stone Cold left on the pegs. This is hard to believe but not every store will carry an item. It’s up to WalMart corporate what a store carries. And if they don’t allocate it to a store’s polygram that store won’t carry it no matter how many times a store manager or department manager try and order it. I have said this many times in the past after series 1 my local WalMart never carried Mattel’s DCUC line. Not even their exclusive. Many times both the store and department managers tried to order them for me and the warehouse would deny the filling the order. I would ask way and the manager would say it’s up to corporate what they can and can’t order. So I would either have to drive an hour north or drive down to NJ to get my DCUC figures at Walmart. So maybe your area store was never going to get the Flashback wave. Especially if they ordered less of this assortment. I thought Series 1 & 2 sold very well, but didn’t Bill say the line was cancelled? So if it was maybe WalMart didn’t order as many of this assortment?

Unless you see someone actually bust open a factory sealed box, tape still intact, you can never tell if you're seeing a full case assortment or just whatever wouldn't fit on the pegs the first time getting put out to refill a shelf. Target is especially bad about just putting out a few figures at a time and putting the rest in the back to work out later.* So you're likely seeing mixed cases or repacks when you get these goofy boxes coming out to the aisles.
* This is what also makes Target the undisputed king and queen of employees snaking the good stuff before it hits the shelf and selling it off on the aftermarket. They just "don't find shelf space" for the stuff they want, put it in the back, then buy it at the end of the shift...among other tactics.
