How a company hasn’t picked up icw is beyond me. Needs to be on tv They have no need to be on TV at all. Their brand awareness is solid for the UK market, so they do well on their ticket sales and on demand/iPPV. They’d be potentially hurting their on demand service if they started showing stuff on some crappy little cable channel that wouldn’t be able to pay them anything anyway. And having a TV show could hurt their relationship with WWE. Plus they had a TV show years ago and got booted off the station due to a scheduling screw-up, so that banned status will have put other channels off. But they weren’t being paid anything for the show anyway. And they’re probably still waiting for WWE to put them on the WWE network, so they’re unlikely to take a crappy cable channel offer now. It’s 2019. Small time wrestling promotions aren’t making money from television, nor do they rely on it to advertise their brand. YouTube, social media, word of mouth do far more for them than being on Sky channel seven thousand at 2am would.

Add MLW on to the list. Battle Riot has been on Freesport twice this week and their TV show MLW Fusion will be on Monday nights iirc.

You can add AEW to the list, now that Double or Nothing will be available on ITV Box Office.

You can add AEW to the list, now that Double or Nothing will be available on ITV Box Office. Interesting, no idea what price point they will charge (edit, it is £14.95). In the internet era I have no idea the amount of buys that ITV box office gets. Luckily it is on the Saturday into Sunday rather than the Sunday into Monday like WWE ppv's. ITV4 are also showing the hour long pre show special called "buy in" starting at midnight.

I had no clue ITV even had a box office, that's how outta the loop I am. Hopefully it does well in buyrates and ITV picks up the eventual weekly show.

I hope so too, but have no idea what buyrate would be considered a success, 5k, 10k more or less?
By way of comparison Degale Vs Eubank Jr did an estimated 80,000 buys in January but wrestling is more of a niche market than boxing. I think it is also far more likely to be viewed by illegal streams.
