Angelico and Jack Evans signing confirmed on BTE and they'll take on Best Friends at DoN. I like them both and I think they fit really well into the division the Bucks are building.
BTE was pretty excellent this week. Excited to hear Kenny's new theme.

I love Jack, he is born to shine, but I hope he got his act together since some of the hard to work with stories, and no-shows, of yesteryear.

Kenny is getting a new theme? Booo. I really like the one he has. I wasn't sure if that was like a NJPW song or whatever, but when he used it at that Georgia show or wherever it was I was like 'oh good he's still gonna have it!'.

Seems like it may be a mix of his DDT and New Japan themes together. I’m a really big FFVII fan. So I’m hoping he keeps the One Winged Angel elements fairly prominent. Regardless, I get him wanting a fresh sound with AEW.

Its official, AEW is on TNT. NOW, I can take AEW serious, whether they paid for the slot or not (leaning more toward not cause its probably a s*** ton on money to buy a primetime spot, but since super marks wanna say Tony Kahns got f*** you money, i could realistically believe it if true). Anyways, i wish AEW the best. Im loving their growing roster, though i hope they can grab some better women IMO. Only ones i really know/give a damn about are Allie, Kylie Rae after seeing her live, and Bea Priestly. Their male roster though is near perfect for a startup company, though no real star power except Jericho and Omega to a point. Hopefully being on TNT changes that. Also, i hope everyone enjoys Double or Nothing. Ill be at Little Guidos Beer Bash that night, so ill catch the highlights afterward.

Awesome news about the TNT/WarnerMedia deal. I was also happy to read in the press release that it looks like AEW's show will air live weekly in a primetime slot, which quite honestly I think is one thing they really needed to do in order to actually compete with WWE. Hopefully Double or Nothing sticks the landing and keeps the momentum flowing through to October. I'm also very interested to see how they manage the statistical aspect of their brand. Very excited to see how things go for these guys in the coming months.

Just wild. Really excited for all of it. I don't even need them to compete with WWE. I just want a quality wrestling show that doesn't disappoint me once a week. I think this is the fresh start a lot of jaded fans need. Hopefully it's financially successful as well. I'm dying for all of these guys to get action figures and I would love a video game.

My sentiments exactly. This is wonderful, I am so very genuinely curious to see what their product is like (and not just from a "OMG WILL IT BE BETTER THAN WWE!?!?" standpoint either).

We're going to need a separate AEW section under Pro-Wrestling guys, the TNT deal is huge.

I hope their weekly shows are entertaining. I'm sure they won't disappoint. They're not competing with WWE. That, i will never see happening. The wrestling business is way different now than what it was in the 80s and 90s. Just hope for a good show and that they dont lose money in the long run. Right now, they'll most likely run at a loss until they start building their fanbase more. Not trying to be a buzzkill cause I'm happy for AEW and their workers (minus Cody lol), but I'm gonna look at this realistically and with an open mind.

I'm interested to see where this goes, and I'm definitely curious to see what sort of product they deliver. That said - I can't help but get a cascading WCW feel from all of this.
The Turner connection is self explanatory. That animated fire graphic is straight up Nitro. The kicker, though, might be Turner's social media using "We're back in the wrestling business!" to make the announcement. One can't help but hear the conversation with Ted that Vince has recounted a thousand or so times since the takeover.
Here's to hoping their show goes on at 6:05!

I'm loving the news about the TV deal but I am not happy about Double or Nothing. I have no idea what B/R is and I was hoping to have all my AEW and Starrcast stuff in one place. They should have stuck with FITE.

I haven't watched wrestling in 11 years. AEW may bring me back.
I got WCW nostalgia feels when they announced the TNT deal. Takes me back to 1995 when Nitro started.

There really is no reason why people can’t watch both. They’re different days of the week. I don’t get why people say “competition”. It’s not as if both shows are on the same day, same time, same everything. There’s no competition if they’re not competing for anything.

We're going to need a separate AEW section under Pro-Wrestling guys, the TNT deal is huge. let's get rid of the impact/tna section, it's an independent now anyways.

lol now Earl Hebner is ALL ELITE! Hey! Now he gets to milk that whole "Screwing thing" even more.
I will admit getting a TV deal is nice. I'll give it a shot. But after looking at their card for the Vegas thing. It's going to take A LOT for me to care about the wrestlers I've never heard of.
