Lots of people hearing that Goldberg is 100% coming in for Wembley. I'm ok if Goldberg is brought in to put someone over. If he's willing to lose to Wardlow or Hobbs in his final match, I think it's worth it. Full transparency, I'm not a Goldberg guy and if it were up to me I wouldn't bring him in. |

Doesn't really mean anything in AEW anyways they do heel v heel and face v face plenty of times but for what its worth from the rumors his possible first feud could be Joe or Jericho(doesn't seem to be high on Punks wishlist of opponents),so maybe come back as face and do the whole fan turn on me,ill turn on them quick? But I agree with everybody he's gotta turn heel if not exactly when he gets back,do it right after or during his first feud. From the guys were assuming are gonna be on the show with him,its gonna be a lot of heels there already tho.

Story making the rounds is that Punk is at odds with the company again. Apparently one of his concessions for coming back is Ace Steel gets his job back, and that was approved but then decided against it. Multiple sources reporting it, but obviously I assume they work something out, they already booked the building and the show essentially for him.
Edit: people who saw the collision poster prior to today had Punk in the spot where MJF ended up.

Not buying it. I mean, it'd be a very Punk thing to do and certaintly wouldn't surprise me, but this comes from Mike Johnson. He's got the credibility of Rita Skeeter.

The only thing is this is one of those stories again that makes everyone look like an idiot? Ya know? Like it doesn’t benefit anyone. Punk looks like a diva, Tony looks like he can’t run his own company again and caters to a diva, and WBD wouldn’t be involved or they wouldn’t want to be used. And it was another case where they had a really hot angle that got completely overshadowed by Punk drama again. |
