I read the transcript and was like "Gee this sounds pretty gross". Then I listened to it. They came off even worse when you hear the tone of their voices.

I'm basically expecting this was just the indie wrestling scene at the time so of course that's what they all were doing then comments. but the same people wanting Taker's head for saying the roster plays video games too much. |

I've met a million 2005 Colt Cabana's and they were all the same. Backwards hat babyfaced looking wanna-be jock's. Almost always hockey boys playing in the minor leagues. Threw 'em out of the bar every single Saturday night cuz they couldn't keep their ish together. Pretty typical behaviour from both him and Phil really for the time and for that age. I was bouncing more like a decade ago and the early 20's little boys with big ego's acted exactly like that. I'm hoping/assuming they've both grown up a lot since then, it was 18 bloody years ago.

I’m still something of a Punk fan, as difficult as that can be at times.
But I’ll be completely honest and say he’s gotta be near the top of the list of guys who are bigger stars in their mind than they are in reality.

But I’ll be completely honest and say he’s gotta be near the top of the list of guys who are bigger stars in their mind than they are in reality. Punk is in my top five all time as far as performers go, but even I’ve been surprised at this notion of the few times they have hit a million since he left and he was the reason for that million viewers. Like are there really 250k people out there who stopped paying AEW attention when he stopped appearing on tv? It’s a weird notion to me. Like I feel like there are very few guys who legit moved the needle in wrestling. Hogan, Austin, Rock, and Goldberg (I know it’s laughable but look it up) even guys like Flair, Triple H, Macho, Taker weren’t major needle movers tv wise. It’s weird to see Punk legit in that category. |

Punk was definitely in my top 10,maybe 5 at one point and still would love to see him help build AEW even more if he can just keep his f*cking huge ego in check and be a good boy. Lets just move on from all this dumb stuff,TK gonna give him whatever he wants at the end. So take his Saturday show and prove to everybody he has changed and don't pull a JA Morant and f*ck up the first chance he gets and run his mouth about somebody else when something doesn't go the exact way he wants.

I’ve said some dumb stuff in my life, so I’m not trying to ride a high horse, but these comments definitely need to be addressed and ideally that victim would be approached with compensation considering BOTH those dudes could afford to. really disgusting stuff. |
