From someone who hates Punk and actually kind of likes Hangman Page that interview was nothing scandalous, and Page kind of had it coming. Punk actually came across pretty well, as I really don’t like the Bucks (or Kenny really) at all.
Although I feel like something must’ve preceded Hangman’s attitude towards Punk, as Punk has always rubbed me very much the wrong way, and he comes across like a total dick. In that regard I feel like there was justification, but without that information, and with Hangman not talking about it we’ll never know for sure. I’ll have to give Punk the benefit of the doubt.

I like Punk. I like Hangman.
I’m just happy that when that dastardly Punk went away for almost a year that he no longer could prevent Colt Cabana from appearing on AEW tv! Oh what’s that? He only appeared to wrestle Jericho? Well obviously Punk, like Vince, was booking the show from home!

Rarely do I agree with Meltzer but I do think he is right when he says he now believes Punk had nothing to do with the Cabana thing. Tony Khan just took it upon himself to remove Cabana from TV once he signed Punk, and never really talked about it with anyone.

I don't actually care that much about a backstage fight, I'm used to sports where it just kinda happens sometimes. Exactly like both Phil and Kenny said. (which, makes me think Kenny is legit cool with Punk and just has to go with his friends).
But trying to say what Punk did is fine cuz JBL literally committed felonies backstage is kinda wild.
