YES! YES! YES!!!!! MJF turned heel on Cody. I literally called the entire finish earlier today on Twitter but still SOOOOO HAPPY it turned out that way. MJF needs to be a heel. AEW needs MJF to be a heel. FUC* YES!!!!

I was until Cody anounced the stipulation that he won't challenge again if he loses. It was basically an anouncement that he'd lose so they could introduce the mid-card belt. Until he made that anouncement I was torn as to who I thought would win. Pretty sure that's not going to be the finish of the match, or the outcome afterwards. So, no worries, you can still keep watching and being excited. Told ya greenjack1992

This why i hope AEW stay around awhile, they will always give you the spotfests and great wrestling but they will also occasionally give you a brutal old school hardcore match, Looking forward to what they do with cage matches and their own version of hell in a cell. Will not be watered down like the WWE.

Was dying for some light tubes to come out! Saaaame Holy hell. Death matches just have a different feeling. Watching them is one thing, but experiencing them live is just a rush unlike anything else. I went to GCW's 2 Cups Stuffed the day before All Out in Chicago, and it just made me fall in love with them even more.

Or even CZW since I live in CT, they have shows like a state away from me.

I'm taking a weekend vacation and heading to nashville in December to see them again.

The show was solid. I liked it, but didn't love it, and the final two matches definitely carried the show for me. I really wish they would move away from every single match going at least 15-20 minutes. The show still ended up at around 4 hour run time, and shaving off half an hour or so would have made a world of difference.
I'm also getting a little tired of everything being *so* in ring focused. They don't need to do the type of gimmicky backstage crap that WWE does, but some more promo and backstage segments would go a long way. For a PPV it's ok, but when the tv shows are just as wrestling-heavy, it takes something away from the aura of the ppv. I'm enjoying AEW, but honestly they're still #2 for me behind Impact right now. The shows are enjoyable, but there just isn't enough balance for my liking.

He lost, so now he can't challenge for the AEW title again, meaning he'll need a new title to go after. Hopefully he faces MJF in the final.

That's not going to be the story going forward (Cody introducing a mid-card title)... The title is definitely coming, Cody said as much very recently. I could definitely see him chasing it, elevating it as much as possible and using that as the story. Telling Jericho or whoever has the main belt that he doesn't care that he can't challenge for it since his belt is more meaningful now anyways. Obviously he has to get past this mjf betrayal first so it might be a ways away yet, but could definitely see that as the long term angle

AEW's women's division is so bad I don't even know where to start to explain how bad it is. It's hard to disagree with this. That Nyla Rose vs. Leva Bates match from Dark two-ish weeks ago was one of the worst matches I've seen in ages. I will say that I think some of their women are talented, I just think they need to work with someone who can get them to the next level. I'm thinking Sadie Gibbs and Penelope Ford especially.

Great PPV. Jericho once again proving why he’s the GOAT, Moxley/Omega giving us a death match that matched most fights right out of the Attitude Era, and a roster of entertaining upper card and mid card characters.
I do agree that there women’s division needs work, but I’ll give em time since the WWE took decades to get a decent women’s division. I say give em a year and it’ll be vastly improved.
Mox is once again proving why he’s one of the best today, and it’s great seeing him get his passion back. I don’t think we’ll be seeing another hardcore match like this from him for a while. They got it out of the way, and now he’ll likely focus on showing his in-ring skills off like he did in NJPW.
It was cool to see Kenny keep up with Mox in this type of environment, but they need to start booking him to win some top matches soon. He’s lost to Jericho and Mox now (I know the unsanctioned stip protects him but it’s still a loss), and I’m curious as to where he goes from here.
I see Jericho holding the title for a bit, and he’ll eventually drop it to Mox or Kenny. Once that happens, I think we’ll get the Omega/Mox rematch, but this time in a regular match where Kenny goes over and gets his win back.
Overall I’m super pumped to see where AEW goes from here. It’s also refreshing to see the Elite not book themselves to dominate the show like some detractors thought they would.
