That PPV was awesome and I'm becoming a huge fan of Mox now, he's definitely revamped his whole character. I still don't like Riho as the women's champion, she's too small and someone else should have won the title to carry the division the same way Jericho is.

Priestley should've gone over Baker. Priestley is far better in the ring, than Baker - who is mediocre at best. Was a fun ride the entire time watching it. Was dying for some light tubes to come out! Saaaame Holy hell. Death matches just have a different feeling. Watching them is one thing, but experiencing them live is just a rush unlike anything else. I went to GCW's 2 Cups Stuffed the day before All Out in Chicago, and it just made me fall in love with them even more. Death matches are total trash, tbh.

And Bea is a danger to herself and others and it's almost like she doesn't know what she's doing, just like Leva. I honestly feel like the only reason she gets as many bookings as she does is because she's sleeping with that dumbchit Assplay.

I know Ospreay can be a knob on twitter, etc, but can't for a second deny how bloody good he is in the ring. I don't think you could possible date someone like him and not improve at wrestling. Being a good human might be a tougher challenge, but you'll sure know how to wrestle.

Full Gear was a really good show, Every match was solid or really good. The Moxley/Omega match was something else that i hope they do only once a year since they don't want to over use the gimmick.

I mean they've already said they'll only really do them on ppv. So that means maybe 6 opportunities a year if you include a couple special fight for the fallen type events. I don't think they'd do one everytime so yeah probably only 1 or 2 a year, which I completely agree is the way to go

hell of a ppv, kept the action constant but the matches had good tempo, with a few starting with down points to reel things back up.
jr commentating the barbwire moments in moxley/omega was hilariously similar to a man trying to dissuade his dog from rolling in poop. lol, pure disgust.
i love that tully blanchard is a manager too, he nails the role.

One thing i've noticed is that the commentary team is kinda boring. I think their main issue is there isn't a bad guy and good guy on the commentary team arguing with each other. Every great commentary team has done that and I am starting to believe thats what makes them good. Also it seems like JR and Excalibur just argue over what moves are called, like old school vs. new school, pro vs. indie. I mean in the end does it really matter what the move is called? Just agree to disagree and move on. I think they should focus more on the story of the people wrestling, explain what is going on behind the scenes with them more, instead of just going "oh that move was cool!" or "oh nice dropkick!" "No that is called a rock bottom...", etc.

I very much enjoyed full gear. These "unsanctioned" matches are interesting. I like to see that AEW is brave enough to try and cater to all fans (like the old CZW did). A company that has it all. Strong style, high flying, tag team, womens wrestling, hardcore, etc. That way you bring more fans together. Some may hate hardcore wrestling some may love it, some may hate high flying/spot fest wrestling, some will love it but if there is all of it on one show how can you complain? I know AEW is sorta teasing/playing with fire with these deathmatches but I am curious to see if they will ever introduce light tubes into their unsanctioned matches. Kinda like lucha underground did (which was only 1 or 2).

what I want to know is if Omega and Mox have wolverine-like healing powers, or does blood naturally coagulate that quickly even through all the sweat?
When Kenny hit Mox in the back of the head with the barbed wired broom, blood was streaming everywhere down this guy's body. Then the whole raking each other's backs with barbed wire made so many slits with blood. But by the time the match concluded both their backs looked perfectly fine.
I'm not a deathmatch/hardcore fan so this stuff is shocking. I get that the glass is sugar, and Kenny didn't actually cut the webbing between Mox's fingers with the shard of glass, but surely you can't fake barbed wire slitting flesh!

To be honest this was nothing. As a deathmatch fan, this match was very tame to what goes on in the indie deathmatches. Gusset plates, dry ice, skewers, fork boards, tubes are very normal these days. You see like 10 times the amount of blood in a good normal indie deathmatch. They are even doing spots now with scissor and saw blade boards, razor wire a few times which makes barbwire look like a padded cushion...

Death matches are uncomfortable and i'm not prudish.

Also it seems the same 8 guys are doing them so it gets redundant. They aren't what they used to be.

explain what is going on behind the scenes with them more, instead of just going "oh that move was cool!" or "oh nice dropkick!" "No that is called a rock bottom...", etc. Novel idea... maybe if the majority of AEW's roster knew how to "work" and "tell a story," JR & Excalibur & Tony could explain more. Unfortunately for the commentary, and for us.. 90% of the roster thinks that "that cool move" is what wrestling is all about.

First, the guy that looks like King Kong Bundy had an f'n puck of spikes stuck in his skull!!! And it's amazing how chill they are behind the curtain. But this is bat crazy crap. Definitely a niche market.

I feel that AEW is telling a story far better in ring than anything the wwe is pulling off these days.
