Johnny B. Badd was pretty popular then, it's easy to see why both WCW and WWF would want him over an Austin or Foley from 1994 to early 1996. It was a silly gimmick but done by the right guy was able to get over for several years. It's along the lines of a PN News and maybe shouldn't have lasted long but Marc Mero did such a good job. I knew Scott was Raven but it really surprises me how much he changed. I always wonder if guys that get all tattooed in their 30s or 40s always wanted the tattoos or all of a sudden was it a phase that became their lifestyle? Scott and Johnny really don't even seem like the same person. Was Scott and Johnny just a gimmick he did because it's what he could only do until he was allowed to be a Raven type character?

Gotta get you back in here I do forget about this thread...LOL. what are we talking about now & Ill weigh in....just seen a pic of the Dungeon. Worst faction ever man...my god they stank. Brood were crap too....Better as part of the Ministry but corny as f*ck on their own. Ministry of Darkness was great but destroyed by becoming the Corp Ministry & McMahon being behind them. Loved Muta & Vampiro together....Would have loved to see more of Vampiro in WWE.

I thought the early faction of the Dungeon was great. Once they started adding guys past the original few it got watered down. They needed to give the guys some high profile wins otherwise it would, and did, look like Macho and Hogan and Sting beating jobbers.
I thought Gangrel as going to be the next big thing in wrestling. I thought Edge and Christian were boring and carried by the Hardy's and eventually the Hardy's and Dudleys. E & C were total channel changers for me if not in match with those two other teams.
I wonder what a huge star like Undertaker thought of working with total losers like Phineus Godwinn, Mabel, Bradshaw and Ron Simmons, who by that point was very low on the card. I'm sure he was fine with it since they were do anything WWF asks/cool locker room guys.

Lol you guys were supposed to vote on which of those he was going to do the perspective on. But you guys decided to give your thoughts on each of the choices he put. That’s funny!
In case my choice doesn’t win, I thought the Brood was a unique faction. The gothic vampire stuff was different, but not in a bad way. Their entrance was awesome. When Gangrel did the thing where he drinks the blood and spits it out in MSG, it got some on Donald Trump’s then wife. It was at a house show in the late 90s

Maybe he asked to be paired with those guys because in real life they were his friends, but yeah they were losers especially Bradshaw whose success was a combo of being lucky and towing the company line as opposed to actually being good! Dan Severn was asked to be part of that garbage group, but he refused(I’m talking that was the creative plan). Dan Severn has dignity you know.

He was supposed to be called The Beast 666 or something and be a Satanist 🤦♂️

Dan Severn is a big disappointment to be in WWF but not his fault. I check out his website every few years, though not sure it's been updated, and just by reading it I know this guy is a serious bad @$$. I think if WWF allowed him to be a killing machine it would have led to more success. What he did to D'Lo, even though kayfabe, was pretty awesome and helped D'Lo really get over too. I would have loved to see Severn and Bradshaw in a match.
