Every time I hear that Tarzan song I think of Chris Farley in Beverly Hills Ninja It had something of a resurgence in the early 90s also being used in teenage mutant ninja turtles 3 and a listerine commercial.

Tom Brandi is a great guy. I got to know Tom a little bit from shows around 5 years ago. As a kid I met him when he was in full Sal gimmick at a local Walmart. I was so excited because I thought it was a great gimmick and he would be world champ. I think he deserved a bit better than he got in wrestling but he was always a good hand and always positive so I'm sure he is happy.

Sal SincereHe loves everybody! Sal here would make his WWF debut during the Summer of 96.The gimmick was that of a high class Italian with his finisher being ''sincerely yours''aka the full nelson slam. They would put em in there with top level names like Undertaker and HBK early on and they weren't squashes either. Old Sal here put up a little fight. He was on the free-for-all that year at SSeries on team Billy Gunn as the fought team team Bart Gunn but would be on the losing end. From there he start his only feud and that was with newcomer Rocky Maivia. When Rocky turned down Jim Cornette as his manager, Corny vowed revenge and got Sal to do his dirty work. The match would take place on the IYH It's Time free-for-all (deja vu for Sal) with Rocky picking up the win by DQ.The feud would end on Raw not long after with the future Rock putting em away. This was pretty much it for Sal as for a good portion of 97 he did nothing of note. He was mainly used on Shotgun with him always on the losing end. The end for the gimmick would come by years end when he was gonna face Marc Mero with Mero calling em a jobber in the process and also referred to him as his real name Tom Brandi. He would drop the gimmick from this point on with him being gone from the WWF in early 98. Overall...Bad gimmick here but not surprising since 96 was full of em. When Raw changed over to ''Is War'' this gimmick was done as it just didnt fit in with the change. What are your memories/thoughts of Sal? Share them below!

Salvatore Sincere was just Johnny Gunn as an ambiguously gay Italian. His accent was so exagerrated too.
"I-ah justa wanna tella you-ah! That I-ah love-ah eacha and-ah every one of you-ah...sincerely!", LOL.

I know they weren't wrestlers, but how about the Rizzoli (I think that was their last name) sisters? They were usually in the audience on Tuesday Night Titans, then Prime Time Wrestling, then were "ring girls" on RAW. They were Italian, not so easy on the eyes & very large. Heenan loved making fun of them.

You dont have to cut it!''

Rosati SistersVivian,Christine and Diane were all sisters from the NYC area. They were all big fans of the WWF as you would see them often at the MSG shows in the 80s.They were very vocal as they would be shown on camera cheering on the faces all the while booing the heels usually in the front row. This would catch the eye of Vince McMahon who would not only give em tickets for life to their shows but make em personalities on TV! They would be used on the short lived Bobby Heenan Show in 1989 and would be known as the ''oinkettes'' with them being the brunt of Bobby's jokes. When that show ended they went back to just being shown in the crowd at MSG but in the early 90s they would appear on Prime Time once again antagonizing Bobby. Gorilla cracking up when they would interact with each other was gold. Their last stint in the company would be during the early months of Raw in 93 when they would be ring girls holding up signs. They would vanish from TV following this. Overall....Like Jamison, These ladies played their role to perfection. You could tell they had a ball interacting with Bobby.Cant talk about this era without giving a mention to the Rosati sisters. What are your memories/thoughts of the Rosati's? Share them below!
