It was literally half the show of a big 4 ppv. Just give them their own ppv and everyone would be happy. They have the right to be on the same card as the men, they work just as hard as the men do. The two women’s title matches were very good last night. I did enjoy them but those two plus the rumble was just way too much and burnt me out for any of the men’s matches...I apologize for not wanting to see a plethora of pin attempts in a rumble match, unnecessary screaming and hugging like they are best friends after every match. How many times did Paige scream ‘this is my house’ when entering a ring....how many times does Sasha do the ‘step to the side then show the boss rings’....don’t get be wrong some of the guys do it too but it’s painful with some of the women. I enjoyed the NXT women last night, but more than half of the main roster women are bathroom breaks...I just don’t feel that the women right now should get half of a BIG 4 ppv.

Just to throw in my little review I have so much gripe with this event I'm really put off by the product. Kenny Omega was smart not to jump into this. My issues were the lack of push for different talent. The 2 Rumbles gave us obvious victors instead of surprises. I lose my mind when someone like Shelton Benjamin enters to dead silence and underperforms and Dana Brook is in there doing her thing while commentators boast about Natalyas performance all while she's hung up on the top turn buckle? And wow R Truth loses his spot to Nia? Talk about pushing the feminist agenda (and that's all that was)
WWE desperately needs a shift in direction. I always want the least likely of winners in Royal Rumble. Theres just too much talent to be stuck with the same top contenders.

Bolded point: It's called an entrance, everyone does them. Underlined point: The women were more entertaining than the men last night. Between that and with how widely acclaimed the TLC match and the entire Evolution PPV were, the women are more than deserving of all of the spotlight they're getting. If Becky/Ronda or Becky/Charlotte/Ronda doesn't main event Mania, it would be a travesty.

Brock Lesnar Kimura Lock is awesome...what is funny about it though is the look on his face that he gets when he has it looked in and I admit I was dying of laughter when Brock did that to Finn's arm.

Watching the female Royal Rumble showed that more than half of the Women's Roster can't wrestle for crap. It's why they had the best go last.

It’s wrestling fans who RUIN wrestling for everyone else. THIS RIGHT HERE! Honestly, even on this board, I tend to ignore what everyone says in terms of what's great and what's not. It's fun talking to you all, but when you start complaining that certain matches didn't live up to the hype, I tune out. I once again enjoyed all the matches on the PPV and have for quite some time. A lot of the issue seems to be that we're so desensitized to even the basics, that we can't enjoy a match unless something new occurs. Rollins vs. Ambrose was thoroughly entertaining last month, and I don't see any reason not to have enjoyed AJ vs. anyone in the last 3 years yet people are claiming his only great feud was with John Cena. (Let's forget how awesome the Reigns series was too SMH)

Last night's Royal Rumble was great. Both Rumble matches were incredible, and the non-Rumble matches were all at least solid (apart from AJ/Bryan):
Becky VS Asuka was a solid match. I was really surprised that Becky lost clean to Asuka. I expected Asuka to retain, but I didn't expect a clean loss to Becky. I thought it was a mistake at the time, but Becky's Rumble win nullified it.
Miz/Shane VS The Bar was solid.
Sasha Banks VS Ronda Rousey was the non-Rumble match of the night for me. It was a really good match, and told a great story. This was the most anticipated non-Rumble match on the card for me, and I believe it lived up to my expectations. Sasha Banks is a star, and her performance in this match just exemplified that. I think they dragged out the post-match staring way too long though. But it was nice to get a tease of the Four Horsewomen match. Now with Rousey having vanquished Becky, Charlotte, and now Sasha, Bayley is the only one left. And Bayley put on a really strong showing in the Women's Royal Rumble match.
The Women's Royal Rumble match was fantastic, much better than last year's (which I still really enjoyed). Lots of NXT talent in (though surprisingly no Shayna Baszler). I think the only downside is that there should have been at least a couple of female legends returning. Every Royal Rumble match needs a blast from the past. But still, that's a minor niggle. What they did do was great. I LOVED seeing Candice LeRae, Kacy Catanzaro, Kairi Sane, and Io Shirai in there. It was nice to see Rhea Ripley in too, and Xia Li was surprisingly good too. Zelina Vega's hiding under the ring was brilliant, and it was hilarious to see her grinning face emerge with underneath the ring with her intelligent tactic. The Hornswoggle spot was hilarious too. The ending was especially brilliant. I absolutely LOVED seeing Becky win the Royal Rumble match. They did a great job of having her enter as a replacement at the very last minute, rather than just being #29. It made her entry that much more special. Charlotte/Nia/Becky was a great final three, considering the past few months. And now we should be Becky Lynch VS Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania! Hopefully WWE have the sense to book that match as the main event. I don't care what anybody says. The Man IS the main event!
AJ Styles VS Daniel Bryan was such an incredibly boring, long, drawn-out match that I started to fall asleep during it. Pretty much sums up the whole Eco-Warrior Daniel Bryan gimmick to me. I've probably reached the point to stop paying any attention to Daniel Bryan from now on until they revert him back to being the leader of the Yes Movement again. I'm just not interested in his gimmick in the slightest. I don't think being an eco-warrior works for pro wrestling as a gimmick, and his match quality has plummeted since he changed his in-ring style. Daniel Bryan is not fun to watch anymore.
Finn Balor VS Brock Lesnar was better than expected, but it had an absolutely joke of an ending. It was a fun match up until the end, with Balor looking surprisingly strong against Lesnar, which I never expected to see. But then after 10 minutes of getting beaten up and getting next to no offense in, Lesnar locks in one submission and it's over? What a joke! The sooner Lesnar can leave WWE, the better for me as an audience member. I don't care how many casual fans he brings to WWE, he doesn't interest me in the slightest, and WWE's booking of him continues to drag everyone else down.
The Men's Royal Rumble match was fantastic! I exploded in joy when Johnny Gargano entered the Royal Rumble match, and only to a slightly lesser degree when Aleister Black entered. I hoped both men would enter beforehand (I also hoped for Ciampa, Ricochet, and Dream), and I was thrilled when they did! Now Mr and Mrs Wrestling have participated in Royal Rumble matches. Kurt Angle and Pete Dunne were good surprise entries too. McIntyre put on a pretty good performance, especially destroying No Way Jose and his conga line. I absolutely LOVED Nia Jax taking out R-Truth out of the Rumble and entering in his place. I know that logically it doesn't make much sense that Nia would be allowed to enter, given that the women have their own Rumble match now, but I don't care. I enjoyed it too much to care about logic. And when you think about it, it makes complete sense that Nia would do that, after seeing Becky replace an injured Lana in the Women's Royal Rumble match. Nia has the build to fit right in a Men's Royal Rumble match, and it showed when she fought Mustafa Ali, Rey Mysterio, and Randy Orton. Orton's RKO was such a fun spot! My interest in Nia has certainly taken a major dip in the past couple of months, but her performance in this match made it shoot right back up again! WWE really should make intergender wrestling a far more frequent occurrence. This match proved that it can work when done right, and intergender wrestling is true equality. I knew it would be either McIntyre, Strowman or Rollins winning it, and I'd be fine with any of the three. I hoped for McIntyre, but I'm happy with Rollins winning it too.

Show was decent, just super long. It's hard to focus on ANYTHING or sit for that long. I think everything went pretty much as expected. I'd have had McIntyre win the Royal Rumble just because I think he's a more (kayfabe) serious threat to Brock just based on how big he is. I didn't realize how big Drew was until he stood next to Strowman a few months ago, and I was shocked. Put him in there with Brock and I'd definitely believe it more than Seth, but I get it if they feel like Drew isn't ready. I don't see them putting the Universal Title on Rollins at WrestleMania, anyway. They'll probably wait until SummerSlam and have McIntyre win it. He'll be ready for sure by the end of August. Yeah they will probably have Lesnar go into his UFC fight as wwe champion, but if he loses that fight... I think Vince would LOVE Brock to walk into the octagon wearing the Universal Title and I think he'd love even more if Brock walked out on RAW with BOTH the Universal AND UFC Titles.

Is Becky Lynch's entrance music the theme song from Camp WWE?

if The Number of women matches are turning you off then you could just turn off the network.

Counting the pre-show the women had 3 matches on the card, men had 7. If women having a solid spotlight on the card bothered you so much, maybe you’re the problem.

Why does WWE push her so hard? I got 2 words for ya.
The Rock. But i agree 100% with what you said. Go figure, as soon as we get Elite Bludgeons, Rowan get repackaged for the umpteenth time and is - by all indicators - not with Harper. Again. How many times are they gonna split/reunite Rowan and Harper? I would've loved to see the Bludgeons return and absolutely kill Shane/Miz and pick up where they left off, but i'm fine with this. It gives Rowan something interesting and hopefully it means Harper will get a deserved proper singles push. I swear to god, if they go with Luke Harper vs Daniel Bryan w/ Erick Rowan for the WWE Title at Mania, i will be the happiest person on thy planet. Everyone else will hate, but i'll be rejoicing.

By and large, very predictable. As soon as AJ Styles didn't beat Daniel Bryan again, you knew Kenny Omega wasn't entering the Rumble. The way the Rumble played out was all too obvious that Seth was winning too, it wasn't as good of a feel good moment as it could have been for him. For somebody like Rollins, it's always better if they treat it the way they did last year for Nakamura, toppling one of the Machine's boys in the process of winning. When Rollins endured a lengthy time in the match, and then got taken outside and put through the table, you knew he was coming back in to win.
I know the majority are behind Seth Rollins winning, and that he deserves it from carrying Raw for the past year, but I just don't see him as the guy, especially to be the one that topples Brock Lesnar once and for all. In hindsight, the payoff could have been huge had Lesnar not dropped the Title at Summerslam only to win it back a month or so later, he'd be going into Wrestlemania in an 2 year unbeaten run as Universal Champion.
I wonder what their plans are for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania though. I'm still leaning towards Daniel Bryan vs The Miz, but it seems as though that's dragged out for too long now to really get the payoff it could have. Wrestlemania is looking extremely weak at this point on paper.

So I'm super happy Rollins is clearly the guy they want to go with for awhile. The dude has ALL the talent in the world and is one of the best I've seen in that ring in years. The scenario of him conquering Lesnar standing tall at the end of Mania with the Big Red Belt, and to really put it over the top, Roman comes out to raise his hand. Great moment....which of course will get buried in the middle of the show because its more important to get a triple threat womens match to close Wrestle f'ing Mania The entire rumble was fine, nothing really amazing. I liked the Titus moment, Jarrett coming out was a nice surprise, loved seeing Black get a big elimination. I just wish they didn't book Seth to miss 15 minutes of "action" and then sneak back in, I've always HATED that storyline because they ing do it in EVERY RUMBLE. Also, New Day all seemed "off" last night, I dunno, just not what I expected....woulda been nice if Kofi had lasted longer. I thought AJ/Bryan was hard to get into because the crowd was utterly silent. I liked the shock of Rowan, I'm interested to see where they go with it. Finn/Brock was better than I expected, because I expected a massacre. Nice psychology, and they really made Finn look good in defeat, especially with Brock murdering him AFTER the match. In Vince's world, Goliath always wins but at least they made Finn credible. Tag match was a waste. This Miz/Shane storyline is ing dumb and OF COURSE Cesaro eats a pin from the boss' son. Shane does hit a nice SSP though. Really random they flip flopped the US title again too. In the end it was a show, it was a LONG show. A very LONG show.
