I found hbk and angle today at Walmart and picked both of them up. Kurt looks just like my American gladiators figure of laser I had as a kid. It's like 2 in 1 for my nostalgia feeling for the toys I grew up on.

I heard about Goldust, JYD, and Diesel, when was Studd announced? Not sure, maybe I'm mistaken, thought he was rumored to be in the lineup with JYD? Maybe someone else has that rumored list. Maybe he was, but I don't remember seeing it. Though, I'd wouldn't mind a Big John Studd figure he was sorta in the Hasbro era.

And with Sheik and JYD, would be cool have more pre Hasbro era to go along with them. I hate having like one or two guys from a particular era/promotion. NWO Macho just shouldn't exist without Hall, Nash, Hogan, Syxx.

Though if they are going to go that route, which is fine, they need a Hogan, heel Piper, face Andre, Bundy, Orton, Orndorff, Volkoff, Bulldogs, heel Hart Foundation, IC era Valentine, IC era Tito, IC era Steamboat, a Magnificent Muraco, George Steele, Ventura, heel Beefcake, a young heel Jake, a young heel Savage, early Hercules Hernandez, the Killer Bees, the US Express, King Harley Race, maybe even a Mr. T if they could get the rights. Totally agree with you on the NWO Savage, he looks completely out of place without Hollywood Hogan, Hall, Nash, and Syxx. Also, of all the legends they have made, I think NWO Savage is definitely the worst (took the spot away from Warrior) - and this hurts to say. The head just looks awful, to me it looks nothing like him. Would have much rather had a long tights Macho King over an NWO.

I just despise the split torso, plus being pretty much same attire as the first Hasbro, he doesn't really fit in anywhere in my display. I'd absolutely love any long tights early 90's Macho.

I don't really have any restrictions on who I want to see in the line in terms of eras - I mean obviously I'd prefer the New Generation guys we never got up to when I stopped watching at the end of the Attitude Era, but I still welcome guys like the Iron Sheikh and JYD despite them being before my time (Col. Mustafa was still around, just). Likewise, I don't think I've ever seen a full match of his but I'd be all over a Bruno Sammartino Retro figure. My list of wants is basically everyone 😁

Yeah, they should have given him the Brock or Rock torso to do the gorilla press feature. A different attire choice would have been nice, maybe even add a warrior symbol on the tights.

Last time I saw the rumored future lineups, series 9 was supposed to be Goldust, Joe, Orton, and Cesaro; and 10 was Diesel, JYD, Elias, and Matt Hardy. Obviously, no reason to get too hung up on rumors and whatnot though. I wouldn't be surprised to see those lineups change.

Hopefully 9 is actually: Diesel, Goldust, Diesel, Goldust.
I’d be happy with Diesel, Diesel, Goldust, Goldust, too.

I remember last year, there were SEVERAL months where Bret Hart and Big Show kept popping up as rumored upcoming Retros...they were supposedly coming out with the Flair, but obviously it never happened.

Ya that is unfortunate we didn't get a Big Show or Giant retro. Also Rey Mysterio and Booker T would be awesome to see if they do anymore legends.

Take this with a grain of salt, but was looking through brickseek for retro listings and they had Orton, Joe, Goldust and Kalisto. Kalisto, wtf ? Thought Cesaro was going to be in 9 ?

Decided to try to go complete on these after realizing I was only missing like two of them. Buying a kalisto though is like lighting $10 on fire. Wish they would put some people in this line that are more relevant.

Just got my notice too. Thankfully I got my May pre-orders but still haven't gotten my July ones. Dang, someone at Mattel needs to get their act in gear over production/distribution.

Wow, this is crazy, meanwhile Walmarts all over the country are getting cases of them. Does this happen with other lines? I thought RSC preorders were supposed to be filled before they show up at retail?
RSC can't be happy either, sure all the pre orders will be cancelled by the time they actually come in.

I had to give up on Retro 7 from RSC after the delay notification and get them off auction. Now, I'll forget to cancel the preorder and have a surprise in mid August.

Do you have the UPC for Kalisto? Because it sounds like the old listing (UPC: 887961576016) that was eventually changed to Series 7 Chris Jericho. Series 9 Cesaro's replacement has yet to be announced. The UPC for it is/was 887961754827. BrickSeek mistakenly refers to it as Jeff Hardy.
