Is it my imagination or is the Series 7 cardboard a bit thinner than previous releases ? Don't know how that would be possible, it would basically be paper then lol. |

Well, they must have finally put them out today because brickseek count went back to 0 at some point today. Guess it's ok though, now I can stop wasting my time running in there and not give Walmart any of my money. Guess we should all be grateful though at least at this point (knocks on wood) nothing in this line is exclusive to a brick and mortor store. After seeing what's going on with some of the recent Walmart exc. elites, ughh. Heading over tomorrow to check again for the heck of it. But at this point Walmart may as well hire this guy:   'Nobody gets in to buy any Retro figures, NOBODY!!' ![]() |

Still not put on the pegs at my Walmart. Still says 8 on brickseek. It looks like there was some other new WWE stuff out though, like 2 packs looked new I think. Is my store the only one that's still sitting on them?
Last night, I it read 0 when I checked, but must have been a glitch or something as all stores near me said 0, but now they're back where they were.

So after 4 weeks of sitting in the store, finally got lucky and found them on the pegs this morning! Picked up 2x Jericho, 2x Angle, 1x Shawn. Couldn't find the 2nd shawn, and it took me a few minutes to spot the 1st one laying on a shelf across the aisle. Wonder where the 2nd shawn was hiding unless someone stole it maybe. Brickseek now says 3 on hand, so the 2 Sheamus and 1 Shawn should still be there.

Glad your patience paid off. Curious though, did your store have 3 pegs reserved for them ? Yes 3 pegs, although they had elites hanging on 2 of them which I moved over to the proper pegs. It looked as though new elites went out too since last I was there. I definatly noticed the Dude Love with the "tribal shirt" Ryder and Hawkins kept going on about for weeks lol. |

A lot of us who collect the retro line buy 2 each. So when Walmart finally stocks them out they are gone within an hour max and maybe only 2 people are lucky enough to buy them in stores and then they don't restock for weeks. Chances are I won't see series 7 in Walmart until April/May... I'll just keep ordering from Ringside/ebay.

S8 shipping from RSC and S7 still not in while Walmart's all got a box of them a month ago. What is going on here? Was there some sort of production issue with S7 or something I wonder? Or did they need to prioritize getting these to Walmart first in a way to get them to agree to carry them? Will 7 and 8 be hitting Target soon too? Will they be down to $10 or still at $13 if they do? Assuming S9 should be up for preorder soon since they've all appeared in the commercial. |

Troubling to see inventory is still at 3 at my Walmart since I found them the other day. The next one in my radius has also been saying 2 for a few days now, everything else is out of stock though. But, they all only got the one box, but makes me question the success of the line that they didn't fly off the shelf considering online preorders havn't even been filled yet. |

I would say series 7 shipments moved really well. If there are 3 left on your shelf it means 5 have sold. This is a niche line and it's been mishandled with really questionable figure choices considering us 30 somethings are the prime audience. This will never be a mainstream line of figures. It's a nostalgia grab.
With that said, if each series gets at least 2 shipments on average per store I feel most people who are.interested will be able to get them without a lot of stock sitting.
If we see some replenishment of series 7 along with series 8 making it's way in the next month or so, itll be a good sign the distribution is better and the line is getting healthier.
I say all of this hoping it survives long enough to get the Diesel and maybe a Jarrett and Lawler before the end of 2020

Agree, I was getting optimistic lately with some of the upcoming lineups w/ Goldust, JYD, Studd and Diesel tease. I hope they're starting to figure out who the line should really be aimed at and start to reflect that more with coming releases.
If there's at least 2 proper flashbacks (not modern versions of legends like HBK, Jericho and Goldberg), I'll be pretty pleased, as long as they keep pumping them out and I can build up a decent collection sometime soon.
