Let's be honest here, even though WWE has come out in public, on their television and said, we are going to change, we are going to do things for the fans blah blah blah, is there anyone here who HONESTLY believes their is chance Finn goes over Brock? The most logical thing I can come up with is Vince didn't want to job Braun to Brock yet again, and Finn is being put into the match as a replacement simply to achieve this. So, the question is again, does anyone really believe Finn can win? I am sure we all -want- to believe it, but who thinks he really will?

Absolutely not.

Maybe they give us the “Ultimate Underdog” story everyone seemed to want with DB before the injury? It’s just as believable as it was when everyone wanted that. Sure in a real life fight Brock would probably destroy both at the same time, but it isn’t real and they made Finn the first ever Universal Champion. And they had him win two matches last night including pinning Cena in the Fatal Four way...so why is it hard to believe they wouldn’t have Finn win at the Rumble?

Someone just made an interesting point to me... there is a distinct possibility that Brock ends up "getting these hands" and that ends up costing him the title. This would set up Braun v Brock at mania, and Seth and Finn as the title match, that would be REALLY good change in my opinion.

I feel like this could really be the acid test as to how committed they are to all this talk of change. Putting the belt back on a guy like Balor and having him carry it into WrestleMania would be a real bit of fan service on their part. Common sense, derived from years of 'WWE gonna WWE', says that Brock undoubtedly wins in the interest of doubling down on Brock's draw and carrying it to 35 and potentially crowning a new champion. They've got a real opportunity to buck that trend here. Naturally, I'd like to see it happen, but I find that if I set my expectations low, the end result doesn't irk me as much when it doesn't go my way, and lands much better when it does.

in wrestling the small guys can and do beat the big guys plenty of times...but this is the WWE, and Brock is their "money" guy....he's going to utterly demolish Finn right back to the mid-card smiling.
Unless they pull a swerve and give Finn some "help" to set up a different match for Lesnar at Wrestlemania....but I doubt it.
This company exists to troll the fanbase and make you believe they are going to do something exciting, only to let you down every. single. time. But you keep coming back because, you never know? right?

I think it’s just because they don’t want Braun to job to Brock again. I was hoping for Seth Rollins to take the title off Brock at wrestlemania.

If it was any other time of year yea I would, especially cause they have been building Finn for the past few months. But they seem to have a set plan. They could possibly be looking at this to gage another run later this year.

Finn won’t win. But he doesn’t need to. I think this will be a lot like when Brock fought AJ and Bryan. Finn will probably have a good showing but come up short, and it’ll be enough of a stepping stone to build up some momentum going into Wrestlemania.

DB & AJ ran Lesnar close and the crowds ate it up they wanted him beaten BADLY....why not have the Demon Balor beat him? What's so difficult to believe here?
Once the match is laid out correctly like the others were there should be no problem. I find it likely that Braun will will interfere to level the playing field because a frustrated Lesnar is going to cheat(ala Eddie in 2004 with Goldberg) and hey presto job done.

I'm all for Finn winning, solely because the sooner Brock finally s off, the better.

Expect the same match as Brock vs AJ and Brock vs D-Bry. Brock dominates, other guy makes comeback, Brock wins.

Could be another Eddie Guerrero moment only this time Braun interferes and helps Finn win.
