Apparently big Dave is reporting that WWE just doubled the salary of all wrestlers to make sure they stay. Right. This is all pure propoganda or Bs. Dave is a paid NJPW/AEW shill and it's not even remotely a secret at this point. |

He has been accused this week by another show of leaking info or dropping hints to favor AEW over WWE. |

I never thought there would be a time where I would Prefer Keller over Meltzer/Alvarez but we have def gotten to that point. Keller is at least semi neutral at this point. Alvarez is completely unlistenable now. He either hates his life at this point or has created this I’m gonna bitch/hate on everything at this point. He is so negative about everything he covers at this point Dave even seems annoyed by him at this point, and the bias Dave has at this point is laughable. His rant this week about Brock and Balor being a bait and switch they knew about for months after he just reported last week that Braun had a follow up on his elbow and may not be able to make Rumble is laughable. Especially when rajah last week speculated about Braun’s follow up being bad and the Wwe having to think about a possible replacement, to the point that they listed the five possible challengers and four of them ended up in that four way with the other being Lashley.

I’m no expert, but that’s hard to believe. it would leave those currently signed to their deals extremely unhappy and potentially liable to legally have their deals rearranged. |

I think this was specifically in reference to indy talent who they would be bringing into NXT. I believe the typical NXT deals are for around 50-60k (though some of the bigger names like Roode, Joe, and Balor received larger deals), that then get bumped up to larger contracts when they hit the main roster. That probably puts things in the low six figures, which seems pretty logical to me. And contractually there shouldn't be any issues since the workers are independent contractors and there isn't any union. |
