We used to have a member of the Mattel team come on the boards and give us info from time to time. I feel like this is something they would have shared with us. I think the only reason that member doesn't come on here anymore is they forgot there password. That has to be the reason. He just forgot his password. I mean I know how it is when you forget your password to a site and you can't remember the email you signed up with and then it's a big to do to get a new password. Then the whole E39 drama happened and Bill stopped posting. |

Refresh my memory please but what was the E39 drama again? You read the thread here: linkBill was called out for his effort on the Elite 39 Sting. He stopped posting as much after this incident. He came back for a little bit but then went away again when pictures were being posted of prototypes from other sites. If you look at his posts history you can see a dramatic drop off after the Elite 39 Sting thread and then another drop off after the other thread. |

Luckily, this is a figure, I'm not remotely interested in. However, it would be better if all future exclusives were made available on WWE shop - at least that would give non-Americans a chance of getting them. Mattel staff usually stop interacting on here when they’ve had enough of seeing all the childish overreactions to everything. Which is, in itself, pretty childish. Lol I agree. The entire site got punished because of the actions of basically only one user. Or how about when Bill threatened to not do Q&As with Ringside anymore since someone "leaked" protos of figs that were listed publicly on Amazon for the entire world to see. Laughable really. As for Backlund, I'm still being optimistic in hoping E63 will still start showing up in Walmart stores soon and everyone will have a shot at finding one. Hopefully I'm not wrong. |

Chicago posting “leaked photos” of BoAE even though they were listed on Amazon is what made him go away permanently unless it’s to complain about posting stolen figures or to complain about people complaining. |

I always felt leaked pics and reveals made me want the figure more. Even though he doesn't post here, hopefully he still reads it so he can an idea of how bad things have become with some of the figure distribution.

I think this Is the end for me. I’m not going to Walmart after Walmart in hopes I can find this figure. It would have been nice if wee ship was able to sell it also. At the end of the day with all the repaints and crap distribution maybe I’m better off ending my collecting days.

what a complete bogus situation. "they made a mistake" ?? lol , yea im just getting thru the last few figures that are coming out if I can get them even and then im basically done. If they cant even make there product available on the companys website there making it for , then im not sure what the point is. even if its exclusive to Wally. it shouldn't be banned from WWE shop. lol hilarious.

There was a picture of the Master shipping box from Mattel posted an 8 pc case of WWE Elite Bob Bucklund as they had it spelt on the place holder lists. Mattel pulled this back in the DC Classics line with the red parademon with only at Toys R Us stickers, meanwhile a lot of retailers actually had the wave. The real mistake was making him a Wal-Mart exclusive because there inserting him 1 per case. These store add on exclusives would be better as shared exclusives like the amazon best of attitude era. The 2 worst retailers with keeping new product stocked having these exclusives as part of an assortment is not going to make me want to go hunting in those stores. I'd rather just buy the figures online for a decent price over retail like I did with the flashback set, and hall of champions.

I wonder if there is a correlation with these exclusives and the post Bill made months ago asking us to take pics of the WWE section at the various stores we shop. Maybe they figured having store specific exclusives would allow the store itself to actually order new product.

its almost 2020, we were supposed to be flying around like Jetsons by, but here we are unable to even get or know when or how to get figures from one of the TOP toy companies in the world! Its alomost like they do craplike this on purpose to legend/flashback collectors. Ive never had so much trouble or stress trying to collect something before Mattel legends/flashbacks!
pull head out of butts and get with the program mattel! and dont anyone DARE put this crapon walmart or any other store. this is Mattels product and they are 1st in line when buyers cannot get their product.

Although I don't think they are purposely trying to tick off legends collectors, one could make an argument for it seeing as how legends collectors (while a minority of the customer base) are a very vocal minority. Perhaps they they have had enough of our constant criticisms about parts selection, legends that they haven't made and the distribution problems that plague this line. IMO the complaints about distribution (regardless of who is to blame) are warranted- you should be able to walk into any store that sells these figures and find shelves full of product and find the figure you are looking for (except for high demand ones which might sell out quickly).

Man... Somewhat of a side note. It will be interesting to see where FB3 winds up. There is NO way all of FB3 was distributed. I have to imagine there is going to be an Ollies of 5 Below rush at some point.
