Hey what do y'all feel about the idea of having characters with molded on shades? Personally I think that's the one accessory that seems to rarely fit right on most figures. Unless Mattel can find a way to fix this issue I wouldn't mind if they designed head sculpts with molded shades as seen in past toylines. I know it may not be an accessory you would want to keep on the figure but imo I really enjoyed that about figures like the old Toybiz Hollywood Hogan. Anyway I thought this topic up after struggling to keep the shades on my Miz figure.

Yes and no. I say yes because it would help with the overall look that some figures have when they have shades. Some of the figures look wierd when they have those gaps on the sides of their hair due to the glasses sculpt. It would help eliminate that. The only problem would be if you’d like to give the glasses to other figures or another version of that figure it would not work.

This could happen. Multiple heads being included just worked with the latest Elite Nia Jax. I like the idea very much. Would’ve made my E63 American Dream that much better. While we are on the Mildred topic, next thing should be bandanna’s and head bands. Man, those things look more and more atrocious with each release. They don’t stay in place most of the time.

I've lost so many pairs of figure glasses that I certainly wouldn't mind but I lean towards the idea that Mattel should only do it IF it is for figures that get two swappable heads. There is something to be said for a head that looks like the wrestler's in ring wrestling appearance which imho opinion should be job one for any figure design. Out of ring street clothes promo appearances should be secondary.

I don't mind at all if it looks good these days, but as a kid I hated the molded glasses since I still played and wanted an in-ring look, too. I like when they do the actual translucent lenses on them, so that would be another detriment to doing a mold. The new Dusty's glasses are nearly impossible to actually put on him, but they look nice on top of his hat. In that case, I would prefer a transparent band or something that could wrap around his head.

If we're getting multiple heads with figures then I say absolutely.

Yeah, that would be a good idea for an alternate head.

Bret and Macho would be cool, but I wouldn't want it to be like the only head for a character, like BCA Xpac.

Now that Mattel is doing alternate heads, all Bret Hart figures need to come with a second head with molded on shades. The removable ones always look like his shades should be about 3 inches thick, instead of just a thin piece of foil.
I'd also like to see HBK with an alternate head featuring the round sunglasses, leather cap, and long earrings.
