That's pretty surprising the company would confirm ahead of time that he's gone come April and won't be re-signing. Can't recall them ever doing that before. This all happened really quickly...hoping that Ambrose latches on with another company fairly soon that will utilize him better. Probably gave him what they feel is their final offer and he said no so they just said " it we'll let him walk." Yeah, he supposedly told them he wasn't re-signing under any circumstances. It's still a surprise they would confirm it before his contract runs out, unless they're planning on making a storyline out of it like Punk in 2011.

I just hope more than anything that they don't make him look like an idiot before leaving. No more crap like being hit by Nia Jax. Let him walk away with some pride and it will increase the odds of him returning someday.

Never believed Ambrose was a right fit for WWE. Back when the talk of splitting up the Shield first started in 2013. Hell, even back before he debuted on the main roster when people were wondering why he wasn't being featured on NXT. Not knocking him or his ability, just saying what he offers just isn't what WWE is looking for. Helluva shame.
Best of luck to him.

He will probably say his goodbyes on the RAW after EC, if they're nice enough to let him have a goodbye speech.

Have him lose a "loser leaves town" match to Rollins in a nice hard hitting match. I don't care for Ambrose and like i said before, he's been phoning it in for a long time now. But let him leave that way. OR have Ryder and Hawkins just pick him up and throw him in a dumpster. I'm good either way.

Really odd how they are outwardly promoting that he's leaving now. Can't say I've ever seen the WWE do this before that wasn't for a storyline.

I mean, they didn't release a statement, but it was heavily talked about in the storyline, and he didn't actually sign a new deal until the day of MITB.

I could see Hawkins finally ending his losing streak with a win over Dean in his last match. But he's supposedly friendly with Vince, so I hope they do right by him and let him leave with his head held high. I'd love to see him turn up elsewhere after having a break, and just have the freedom to be what he wants with his character, and make WWE realize how badly they ed up and come crawling to him.

Bitch, bye. Have fun in AEW, 'cause in WWE you've been completely boring since the first Shield split. Not his fault Writers gave him a crapstory. They could've had him be the next Raven or Pillman and WWE Blew it.

Not taking any time off for four years until he tore his entire arm apart qualifies as "lazy" these days, huh? I'm not talking about injuries and years off, i'm talking about his effort in and out the ring. Sure, i have no problem saying that the bigger part of the involution of 90% of the wrestlers is on creative hands, but let's face it: when was the last time this guy was super hot with the audience? I think around 2014 during the feud with Rollins. After that a long way down, with the little WWE championship reign period, and he didn't have one single moment to remember during that reign.Even Stone Cold buried him during his podcast telling directly to his face that he has no work ethic and stuff like that. Neither did Jinder. Lets stop blaming Dean for WWE's booking issues.

Damn it’s very weird to see them address it like this, I’ve been becoming a bigger fan ever since he returned. Hopefully he finds what he’s looking for.

Eh honestly i was never a big fan. He was a decent worker but never had "the look". He literally looked like a flea market wrestler they signed as enhancement talent. and I bet you think Jinder got ripped naturally too. Looks don't matter anymore.

Idk how you could say that. Dean’s quest to get even with Seth back in 2014 was the best. He’s the least boring imo. I can say it because he's ing awful. Nah, his booking's awful.
