Has anyone else bought Hasbros from Japan on EBay? One or two sellers seem to be always selling multiples of the rarer green card and red card figures. Wondering how they came across such a stockpot of rare figures?

This has nothing to do with being repros. There's a topic about Hasbro WWF figures in Australia, apparently green cards showed up in Australia when the first Jakks BCA figs showed up. The same is probably true for Japan.

Shame he always lists the Smoking Gunns together - I only need one of them to finish the green series but getting them both together would kill me in customs charges.

I bought them all and still have them. Only ones they didnt have were Yoko and 123 Kid. I opened a Borga, Crush, and both Smoking Gunns. Only opened those ones because I had doubles of them MOC. It was after work (I def wasnt still at achool) so it had to be 96 or 97.

Welcome to my world; for me it's usually cheaper to place 2 orders and pay shipping twice than to place 1 order and pay shipping + customs charges...

Never purchased them online, but I recently went to Japan & it seems like they’re just as popular over there as they are here. & the majority of the pre owned toys from Japan can pass as deadstock

Yeah, been dealing with that crap for like 20 years now, but appreciate the welcome Royal Mail adding £8 for the privilege of their service just further kills things, but given UK prices for green cards it would just about be worth it if there was only one figure rather than both Gunns. I wouldn’t mind upgrading the other one as well since the one I have isn’t the best card, but again customs kills that.

Shocking how Series 3 and 11 prices have plummeted just due to one or two sellers.
I notice he's been putting up some other rare ones as of late. Wonder if maybe he's got a couple cases of Andre or Dusty coming up?
My apologies if this is too old to post in, but didn't want to start a new topic.

Any guess if Series 3, 11 and the other figs he's sold tons of, will eventually creep back up in value? Or will they stay much cheaper for the foreseeable future?

I really want another red card Bret, but I'm wondering if I should try and grab one for like 250, or if he'll eventually be down to like 150 on them if he's got a couple dozen to unload yet lol.

And wasn't the green cards a limited series? Japan has advanced technology so...

If you've bought/sold wrestling figures over the last 20 years you'll know there are many VERY active collectors in Asia.
