WFWF Presents:
Sin City Showdown
Can Lightning Strike Twice?
WFWF World Heavyweight Championship Match
---------------------------------------------------------
Penny Shannon vs Drakz
At Resolution we witnessed a major upset when Penny Shannon defeated Drakz to become the new WFWF World Heavyweight Champion. You'd think this would make at least a few people happy but that is not the case. Drakz was furious following the match and delivered a merciless beatdown on the new champ that left Penny unconscious in the center of the ring and Drakz walking away with her belt. Then Lila Sleater showed up to "yoink" the belt away from Drakz and deliver a cryptic message about showing up in Las Vegas and doing it the right way. And when Penny woke up... well you can just imagine how she felt.
In the aftermath of the match, Drakz demanded an immediate rematch as is contractually due to him. Penny Shannon wanted a rematch just as bad so she can get some retribution for the beatdown. And Lila, well she just wants to see Drakz take another loss.
Which all leads to our main event for Sin City Showdown: a rematch between new champ Penny Shannon and former champ Drakz. Place your bets now because it's all on the line in Las Vegas!
Will either walk away?
Unsanctioned Match
-----------------------
Anna Ahriman vs Katharsis
Mesh seems to be attracting a lot of unwanted attention lately. First it was La Pantera Negra on a mission to toughen up the Vanguard Champion with a lesson straight out of the school of hard knocks. Now it's Anna Ahriman, Mesh's ally for what, fifteen minutes, before she turned on her in a most violent way. Enter Katharsis, Mesh's best friend and former tag partner, to stop Anna's brutal assault. Now it's turned into a sh*t show with threats of law suits flying around all over the place.
In her infinite wisdom, despite what some may think, Lila has opted for the most direct and simple solution. Anna Ahriman and Katharsis have signed the releases absolving the WFWF from any lawsuits or damages. Anna Ahriman and Katharsis will face off in an unsanctioned match to settle their differences. This one promises to be a bloody affair.
The Return of the Multi-Man Clusterf*ck!
----------------------------------------------
Frank Lynn vs Billy Broom vs Ryan "Needles" Payne
It's been ages since the WFWF booked a multi-man match. Guess what? It's back! For reasons that Lila Sleater is not yet ready to disclose, she has booked WFWF International Champion "the Lethal Weapon" Frank Lynn in a three way dance with "the Janitor" Billy Broom and Ryan "Needles" Payne. She has promised that all will be made clear at Sin City Showdown but for now that leaves us with three wrestlers who have drastically different styles heading to Las Vegas for a multi-man clusterf*ck.
Lynn has enough on his mind with the #1 contender spot to his title still up in the air between Ante Whitner and Tyler Draven. Can he put that aside long enough to concentrate on Broom and Needles? Will his technical mastery be enough to stop the more brawling styles of Broom and Needles?
Broom was last seen losing his cool against Needles, rightfully so in the eyes of many because Needles brought Billy's daughter into it. Has Billy forgiven Needles or will he bring more of that fire to this match? Will Billy even notice that Frank Lynn is also in the match?
Needles continues to be the sadistic psychopath of the WFWF, following in the footsteps of Demon and Schneider, but with less success in the win column. Will this match be the turning point for Needles? The rules are much less clear in a three way dance so is this the time for Needles style of violence to take center stage?
