I'm gonna take Vancouver.. I have a feeling that Toronto Maple Leafs will look past all the good talented young players and sign Yashin.. But Montreal is a great possibility that they could make it to the Cup Finals next year or the year after that.. Who the hell knows. As for Toronto? No Chance in Hell, not with Raysoft, Whiny Tucker, Giveaway McCabe, and of course Sundin.... OH YEAH, I forgot... NOT WITH FERGIE JR.

Oh Yeah,
I'm actually surprised that the Maple Leafs didn't even lock Nik Antropov up with a "No Trade Clause".

Asias Pirates Fan, this game was for people like you!!!!!!!! Nice slogan in your sig that I created 2 years ago. I don't care about the Ducks...they won, yippie. They deserved it, but I just hate seeing them hoist the Cup into the air.

Toronto sells out EVERY single game, they have no motivation to buy a winning team.
Sure, they haven't won since whenever... (1967) and that's reason to win a cup, but Toronto knows they sell and everyone involved makes their money, so they're in no real hurry to make some fans cup happy..

I never understood your beef with Sundin. On most nights, he's the only one that gives a ****. At 35 years of age, he can still put up 25+ goals and 75+ points, practically sharing a line with complete nobodies. It's not like he's hindering the team and keeping them from success. That's Fergie's job. Apparently he's getting an extension. Jesus..
And I hope to Christ that they don't go after Gomez.
It's not like the Leafs are capable of making any big splashes this year. So far, they've resigned a bunch of players that will keep the team overall average. And they're stuck with RayCrap for one last season. And unfortunately, stuck with McCabe and Kubina for years.
These stupid no-trade clauses that Fergie adores, bull ****.
And yeah, they Toronto Maple Leafs aren't so much a team as they are a business.

If the Rangers sign Drury, I will be sooooooo happy and will go out the following day and purchase his jersey.

Uhh, congrats to Teemu Selanne, other than that I don't like any ducks. I mean they definitely played well enough to earn the cup.
But it really is tiring that for 4 years in a row some city that doesn't give a damn about their team has won. It's obviously more comforting to see a juggernaut hockey city like any of the Canadian cities or NY or Minnesota or whomever, but the Ducks outplayed their opponents and earned this right.
I just really hope that next year Phoenix or Nashville or Florida or Washington doesn't win. Atlanta sold out both their playoff games, and the interest is definitely growing, so I wouldn't mind them too much.
And as for the person who said the Islanders are a good US hockey city, they averaged 12,000 a night...and it probably should be lower considering their only sellouts where when they faced the Rangers and the arena was divided 50/50

Chris Drury is coming home to Boston, or else, I dunno, maybe they will just contract the Bruins and move them, because no one cares about them here

I think Drury re-signs with Buffalo to be honest. But hell, I can dream...

Congrads Anaheim. At least Detroit fans can say they lost to the best team. I hate the fact that Pronger won the cup but whatever. Giggy shouldve gotten the Conn Smythe Not Nidermayer. If it wasnt for Giggy Anaheim wouldve lost to Detroit

With a little more depth, Vancouver would've won. No doubt.

I wanted Detroit/ Rangers or Vancouver/ Rangers at the start of the playoffs. A Lundqvist/ Luongo matchup would have been legendary.
