OK so in recent years WM is the event where old timers take part and are used as draws to sell out the stadium. However this years Mania is shaping out like an ordinary PPV and lets look at these names.
Undertaker
Triple H John Cena Shawn Michaels Roman Reigns Now all those guys have been ruled out of Mania and so far Seth Vs Brock and the Women's triple threat are the only two big matches. Don't get me wrong I like the fact that the full timers will be getting a Mania to themselves but at the same time the WWE has relied on the part timers as draws for years so could the lack of them affect the event?

I think this can only be a good thing. Let Wrestlemania sell itself.
Taker, and HBK need to retire for good and let it be done. Trips needs to focus on the business side of the company. Cena needs to transition to a full-time movie star. And Roman needs to focus on getting well again.
Same goes for Rocky and all the other stars of yesteryear. They need to let the future start now and let them take the reigns.
It's bad enough that Lesnar is STILL at the top of the card.
Change needs to start now.

Vince must be banking on a big time musical act to draw them in.
Unless he secured assurances from a certain attendant...

All the wrestlers on the list have had pretty disappointing matches recently, I definitely would let Wrestlemania sell itself and let the young guys take over.

Welp, people complain every year about part timers. Boo this and hiss that. Well here ya go, no part timers by the looks of it. Unless Batista agrees to return. And I still wouldn't be surprised if Cena has a match.

Whether it’s this year or not.... Mania just won’t be the same without Taker.

Whether it’s this year or not.... Mania just won’t be the same without Taker. Amen to that. He needs to ride off into the sunset, but I still agree. It will be weird if he misses his first WrestleMania in 18 years. Fun fact. Grammarly accepts Wrestlemania with and without the capitalization of the M. That amuses me. #englishnerd

I think it's much better not to have part-timers. Too many people are forced into the battle royals as it is, if 2 or 3 of them can be in a real match instead then I think that's great.

Always skip non-opening musical performances that don't pertain to wrestler entrances during my Mania marathon. But I skip the WM 25 Miss Wrestlemania battle royal partly because they cut out Kid Rock singing the ladies to the ring. Go figure lol

If it was music I enjoyed it wouldn't be so bad... Kid Rock, Florida, c'mon... although I'll admit I found that Wild Ones song kinda catchy from WM28. Limp Bizkit at WM19 is one of my favorites, I always liked that song. WWE's favorite band in the whole world!

I think they'll find a way for Undertaker, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels to do something. I can't imagine Shawn Michaels coming out of retirement a few months ago and NOT working a match at WrestleMania. Have you forgotten he is Mr. WrestleMania?!? Same goes for Undertaker. As long as he's above ground, he'll be at WrestleMania. Same with Cena.

It's about time they start building younger stars up to carry the company for the next 10-20 years, relying on part timers can only get them so far and one day they'll be gone. So if they don't build guys up to replace them, what hope will they have to sell Mania other than the name value itself? Guys like Drew, Seth, Almas, Elias, Ali, Owens, Zayn & NXT Guys etc... need to start getting built up properly so they can sell Mania in years to come and not rely on Cena, Taker, Lesnar, Triple H & Rock.
I'll be shocked if in the next 10 years they're still trying to centre Mania around a 50 year old Cena, 60 year old Triple H and almost 70 years old Undertaker.

I’ve been getting fed up of the part timers coming in and getting a match that lasts about 20-30 minutes and doesn’t deliver. Give the current main eventers the chance and see how they get on.

it’s an exciting time - the talent has to stand on their own two legs. Roman is gone. the wwe is forced to action.

I have always loved legend's returns at WrestleMania! Even though it shouldn't always be the focus, they are just there to play to the crowd and make the show feel bigger! They have been apart of some awesome moments throughout WrestleMania and I feel like they are never taking away from the real matches of the show. I suppose you could argue that some of Taker's later matches were high up on the card for the sole reason that it was the UnderTaker wrestling, but other segments are just so exciting to see! I really loved UnderTaker Vs John Cena at WM34. I know it was like five years too late, but the way they pulled it off, and the electricity of being in the crowd, was incredible. Things like that just cannot be done with wrestlers we see every week. No matter how popular today's top stars are, there are just iconic characters and theme songs that people will go crazy for no matter what!
