Has Undertaker even been "ruled out"? Everything I've seen fly regarding him so far has been conjecture, based solely upon the fact that he's not yet penciled in for a match.
I think the focus on the current, full time talent is a positive thing. Assuming the women headline, it will be the first time the main event has featured exclusively full-time talent since WrestleMania XXX. Even if we assume further that, for the sake of argument, the aforementioned legends are nowhere near New Jersey come April 7, I still find it difficult to believe that there won't be some degree of 'legends' attraction in the vein of previous installments. I would not be at all surprised to see an advertised Hogan appearance some time between now and the final lead up to the event.

Hahaha this thread is awesome. I love how some random ass people are saying what is and is not "RULED OUT" for WrestleMania. I didn't realize you guys were getting memo's and attending meetings. Why don't you just watch the shows and see where everything goes. We haven't even gotten through Elimination Chamber, and then we have to get through Fastlane. A lot of stuff isn't definitive until 3 weeks out, anyway.

Whether it’s this year or not.... Mania just won’t be the same without Taker. But in a good way. Mania would be way better without him. He should have called it quits after 28 or 29. 30 and onward has been just sad to watch.

I think they'll find a way for Undertaker, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels to do something. I can't imagine Shawn Michaels coming out of retirement a few months ago and NOT working a match at WrestleMania. Have you forgotten he is Mr. WrestleMania?!? Same goes for Undertaker. As long as he's above ground, he'll be at WrestleMania. Same with Cena. HBK came out of retirement because of Saudi blood money. I doubt that Vince will pay him 7 figures for 1 WM match and that HBK will lace up his boots again for anything less.

You're right, maybe he'll just wait to wrestle again at the Greatester Royal Rumble 2 weeks after WM in Arabia.

I don't mind if they have a musical guest that opens the shows. Maybe like a hype video package playing in between. NXT has done it and I like it.
But I HATE 20 minute concerts in the middle of the show.

Seeing as the crowd pops louder for him than anyone else..... I sincerely disagree See the thing is Undertaker isn't just a wrestler, he's a living icon. He doesn't have to walk into Mania and have a 5 star match, his entrance, his music and his appearance is what gets everyone excited. If he walked into the ring and stood by himself for 10 minutes doing absolutely nothing the crowd would still pop and that because he's The Undertaker. I see him as a necessary asset that the WWE are privileged to have. He doesn't hurt anyone or steal younger guys spots, in fact sharing the ring with him is one of the greatest gifts any wrestler could ever dream of. IMO The Undertaker is ageless and if I were Vince I would never stop using him because he still sells tickets.

It's certainly shaping up to be the weakest Wrestlemania that I can remember in a long time, but I think that it has gotten to that point now where the name not only sells itself, but they also do so many of these big Stadium shows (Greatest Royal Rumble, Super Showdown, Crown Jewell etc) now that they don't have to try nearly as hard or make an effort to create big feuds with attitude names in order to draw. I'm not entirely sure they even care too much anymore. It's just another event on the long list which will just give them some good PR and social coverage.

We’re still about two months out. Plenty of time for the Taker Shawn buildup, maybe the Rock does a tag, maybe not. Is Batista shooting a movie? There’s a lot of plates in the air aren’t there?

I personally like seeing the stars from my childhood at WrestleMania, or any show really. The current full time roster is pretty lackluster without them in my opinion. Hoping that Triple H, Batista, Cena, Angle and Taker are involved in some capacity. Really hope The Rock gets inducted into the Hall Of Fame so he can make an appearance as well. Hell I'd love to see an Austin cameo too.
This will be my first WrestleMania so I want it to be as big as possible.

I think Angle will get a match this stuff between Corbin and McIntyre is leading to something, wouldn't be surprised to see Triple H in some capacity, pretty sure we'll see Shane in a match too, maybe against the Miz and obviously Brock.

Its been time for years now that the WWE moves on from the likes of Taker,Brock,Rock,HBK,Angle...ect I am fine with one kind of old school "Legends" match up for older fans but when most of the top of the card has part timers or guys that work like a match a year its not really cool with me.In terms of guys like Jericho,Mysterio and the Hardys and such I don't view those guys as old timers hogging the spotlight sense they can still go in the ring and when around work a full time or close to work loaded and are willing to be in matches that don't the main event spotlight.
bty anyone dying to see the old timers theirs still going to be a bunch at Mania for you anyways even if Taker isn't their. Its been highly rumored that Mania will see Batista returning for a match up possibly against Triple H if he's healthy enough.Kurt Angle's retirement match.John Cena possibly facing Lars Sullivan(probably out the window now with his issues)and even the likes of Trish & Lita coming back for a shot at the tag team titles.

They sure have a hell of a feat to pull of, if that ends up being the case. Time to push the envelope, and create better storylines. That, or NXT will once again have the better show.

Hold up, where does it say that Undertaker, Triple H, John Cena, and Shawn Michaels are ruled out? I think there's a more than probable chance that ALL of those people will be wrestling. They've all wrestled in the last three months! Plus, you didn't mention that we'll have Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, Shane McMahon, Jeff Hardy, and possibly Batista on the card as well. Not to mention all of today's main event and upper midcard talent in Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Bruan Strowman, Finn Bàlor, Bobby Lashley, Miz, etc. To make the claim that there won't be "star power" at WrestleMania is outrageous.

Thank god, this is like the first time since Mania 24 or 23 that they're not relying on a part timer. In saying that, wouldn't be surprised if they made Bryan vs Shane McMahon for the title to really piss everyone off.
