I dont know why but I find it hilarious when a wrestler is getting a beat down and starts praying. I seen Jinder do this live but dont remember who he was facing against (Sin Cara my guess). Others that come to mind are Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Paul Heyman (manager but does it often). I know there are more but is anyone with me on this or is this an odd subject?

i think Heyman does it as a mock, he is Jewish so I don't think it is the same way as Hogan who is a proud Christian - I could be wrong idk.
Others who did on screen were HBK, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio (most Mexicans always cross themselves before match and after winning)
but I can guarantee you Undertaker and Sting would do it backstage too.

Lol I'm excluding Rey Mysterio because he is legit religious and uses prayer in a serious manner. Liking the responses keep em coming.

I remember Roman doing it before entering the crowd in one video. Jeff hardy also said he prays before his match, uses the bathroom and I don’t remember if he counted to 22/23 as well.

While I’m quasi agnostic (as I DO believe in the afterlife as I’ve had experiences of it that to ME proves there is something out there, I don’t necessarily know or believe that it’s Either a cloudy place with streets of gold or some horrible fiery place, oh like anybody gives a crapwhat I believe. I actually find this thread to be... interesting. And if the typical WF  ery doesn’t go down it could prove to be interesting discussion. |

Aside from Rey, the one who comes to mind is Shane. Any time you see him do the sign of the cross, you know he's about to do something insanely stupid.
But that's on screen. What they do in the Gorilla before matches, I haven't a clue. I'm sure there's plenty of religious folk in the company so it wouldn't surprise me if people on the roster do it right before they come out so that they or their opponents don't get hurt or something like that. But I don't recall a ton of people doing it publically in matches.
I know guys like Book, Jinder, and Show always seem to be mouthing something during ten bell salutes. I dunno. To each their own. Not something I've ever payed much mind to.
