Its the nostalgia charm, I feel the same with TTL figures because they remind me of my childhood. I imagine its the same with Hasbro collectors.

Jakks BCA = Great! Jakks TTL = Crap! Jakks R3 = Crap! Jakks RA = Great! Jakks DA = Great! Also, I always felt that the Jakks RA and DA heads/face scans were better than Mattel. I have fond memories with all the BCAs I had but... BCA is only great if grading on a curve with a huge boost from nostalgia. Better then TTL easy tho.

To me, BCAs were better than Hasbros. And better than TTLs. So they automatically get the 'great' remark because of that, but also because of nostalgia, and because of the talent roster at the time in the WWF. Plus, they were cheap enough where you could buy like 3 BCA figures for under $20 and still have change left over.

TTL bodies are kind of junk and the pre-scan heads were not as good as BCA, in fact most were hot garbage. But real scan was the first major innovation made in wrestling toys that hadn't been matched in my opinion until the new TrueFX paint.

I remember 2000 in to 2001 just being a constant stream of awesome figures. The Heat and No Way Out lines were fantastic.

While the scale with Jakks was terrible, the RA & DA figures were def way sturdier

I still remember my first real scan TTL, I think it was the first American Badass Undertaker. Bandana, black jeans, black boots, black coat. SmackDown packaging. The face looked amazing and it had good height on it too.
