Can't think of THE most underrated match, but here are some that i think were underrated.
WrestleMania 23 - Chris Benoit vs MVP
WrestleMania 24 - Edge vs The Undertaker
WrestleMania 25 - Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy
WrestleMania 27 - CM Punk vs Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio vs Cody Rhodes
WrestleMania 28 - CM Punk vs Chris Jericho
WrestleMania 31 - Seth Rollins vs Randy Orton, IC Title Ladder Match

Opening match, WrestleMania 1. Ricky Steamboat vs. "Maniac" Matt Borne.
As everyone on here knows, Borne would go on to portray the heel Doink in the mid-90s, but even here, 10 years earlier nearly, he's so good in the ring. Possibly his second generation pedigree as the son of "Tough" Tony Borne.
His opponent, Ricky Steamboat.
The fanfare was centered around the spectacle of WrestleMania, the show starting, this being the first time for this big event bringing together all the stars of entertainment.
Meanwhile in the ring, these two have a fantastic match, no one ever mentions.
Shame.

Well, I personally don’t think it is, but people crap on WrestleMania IX as a whole, but the Steiners vs Headshrinkers is in my “Top 3” All time favorite matches.

I think HHH vs Lesnar at 29 is a severely undeappreciated match. I’ll give Savage vs Crush at 10 a shout also.

I'm pretty sure the opening match was Tito Santana vs. Buddy Rose
But Borne vs. Steamboat was good on that show!

Hate to sound picky, but Buddy Rose wrestled the first match (under a mask) as The Executioner.

It was a BRUTAL match with both teams legit beating on each other. And I'll still never get over the 'Shrinkers attempting to kill Scott when he hits the floor headfirst from the middle of the ring

I've felt that Battle Royals are mostly underrated at Wrestlemanias. For example the WWF vs. NFL battle royal at WM2 showed how far the WWF came at the time. WM4 you had Bad News win the battel royal and how epic was it that Bret Hart was the last to be eliminated and he snaps and goes after the trophy lol.

I always liked the Hart Foundation vs Nasty Boys from WM7. I think that whole show is underrated. My favorite WrestleMania; yeah nostalgia has a lot to do with it but it holds up pretty well. Bulldog/ Warlord had better chemistry then most would think and was another underrated match. Hogan/Slaughter is another decent match despite the Iraqi storyline that turned people off & no one believing slaughter would retain.
