Yep, I'd definitely put my money on the Patriots to win it all next year... But I wouldn't be surprised with Dallas or Indianapolis, either. I do expect the Patriots to have the best regular season record. Yea let's go Indy baby ! - Iron Heart

Michael Strahan thinks the Giants should get rid of Shockey if they get the opportunity to do so.

he's already gone..................... Jeremy Shockey has reportedly been taken off the market by the Giants and will remain with the team in 2008. The Bergen Record, citing "a source that has been accurate much of the time," reports the club has given up all trade efforts after dangling Shockey for presumably no less than a second-round pick. Shockey may want out of New York, but he'll have to suck it up and play if he intends to be paid. Huh?

They're apparently not interested in trading him anymore. but anywho, I don't think I've posted in this thread before, I just lurked. but you guys were throwing SB predictions out there, I just wanted to add in. Obviously, the Patriots could and probably will go again, with not too many threats to them. But I'd be REALLY happy for Indy to take them out because they're my second favorite team. And of course, the Chargers could do it too, they're my third so I wouldn't mind. But as far as the NFC goes, I really hope the Cowboys could make it and go as far as to win it. No matter if they play Indy or San Diego. Why my reasoning for that? Zach Thomas is on the team now and I really want him to win a championship. He doesn't have too many years left in him tbh

I'm glad he went to Dallas, where he actually has a chance at winning a super bowl. Super Bowl predictions? Damn, I don't know. I sort of lost interest in the past couple of years due to Miami SUCKING it up. I hate Indy, I hate NE, only real true superbowl contender I like is Dallas. There's always a sleeper that makes it and surprises everybody. So, it will always be too early to tell, unless there are two extremely dominating teams. Dallas and Indy, just for the hell of it.

Farve seems to have a stranglehold on that entire franchise, the guy essentially does what he wants.

I love Favre, but enough already. I don't know if it's true or just the media trying to start shit. Either way, it's ing ridiculous. Rodgers is our QB now. As painful as it is gonna be to not see him out there anymore.....It's time to move on.

I was reading that CBS' Top 50 Football Players now and Peyton Manning was number two. I know everyone is in love with Tom Brady, but when Peyton threw 49 TDs a few years back he didn't even play game 16, and Brady had to wait until the last minute of the last game to get it.
