Soo... Anybody know anything about the Vikings and Bernard Berrian (or however you spell it)?
I heard on the radio earlier that they were near or had agreed to a deal, but now they had a press conference for Williams and Topeh, and I've heard nothing about Berrian since.

I heard on the radio earlier that they were near or had agreed to a deal, but now they had a press conference for Williams and Topeh, and I've heard nothing about Berrian since. They couldn't sign him while he was there. He has a visit set up with the Raiders, but doesn't mean the Vikings are still out of the race to sign him. Faneca has narrowed his teams list to the Jets, 49ers, and my beloved Rams. In all honesty, if the Rams are to sign Faneca, I consider that investing sums of money for another good five years out of him. Not only that, but if Pace is to rebound and get in a good physical shape, I consider the left side an anchor for Steven Jackson, where I consider him the best at running on that side for some reason...I just do. Also gives us flexibility in the draft. Sadly, if he signs with us Sunday, then I'd only expect only two or three more minor Free Agent signings.

Isaac Bruce is now a member of the 49ers
Patriots released Kyle Brady
Not gonna lie, re-upping Kelly Washington is the only decent thing the Patriots have done this offseason, they need to get Moss back, F Samuel and Gay.

Rams should be shooting from a trade tomorrow via Jim Thomas on his radio show.
Right now, the most logical and hopeful scenario I can imagine is a trade for Lito Sheppard.

The Falcons extended restricted free agent SLB Mike Boley a first-round tender. FB Corey McIntyre and DE Chauncey Davis got low tenders.
A league source tells Booth Newspapers that the Browns will acquire DT Shaun Rogers from the Lions in exchange for CB Leigh Bodden and a 2008 third-round pick.

hey remember when Leigh Bodden was a shut down corner because he held ocho cinco to 1 catch over 2 games
oh how times change
ps... i guess this means the Cincy deal fell through? nice move for both Cleveland and Detroit. Cleveland steals a nice player from a division rival, and Detroit gets an immediate starter and a 3rd round pick instead of a 3rd and 5th round pick
this also means Cleveland has no first day draft picks... their 1st goes to Dallas for Quinn, 2nd to Green Bay for Corey Williams, and 3rd to Detroit for Rogers

I love Ted Thompson....we don't like to sign experienced guys...only draft inexperienced guys with horrible combines

The Falcons are bringing Michael Turner at an Arena Football League game Saturday. No expenses spared! Turner will also dine with Falcons owner Arthur Blank Saturday night. With Turner's visit hitting two days, the chances of him becoming a Falcon are increasing.
Texans signed CB Jacques Reeves.
The Eagles are expected to close a deal with Oakland DE/OLB Chris Clemons Saturday. It might already be a done deal, but that's not confirmed. Clemons had eight sacks while playing only 37% of Oakland's snaps last year.
Jaguars signed CB Drayton Florence. He will receive $12 million in guarantees.
Donte Stallworth is expected to visit the Raiders.

The dinner with Arthur Blank seems to often seal the deal. It's weird. I wonder what the hell they serve. I was hoping they would go after turner, but I didn't think they actually would.

Blank looks like he's a "made man".
He probably makes them an offer they can't refuse.
