Are you ready for another NFL season where you make ridiculously stupid statements and everyone proves you wrong, time and time again? I don't get where you and Nash think that Ralpho and I are good friends or something... Haven't you seen us argue back and forth DOZENS of times?

Rams signed James Hall back to a 2 year deal. In my opinion, this makes me think that the Rams will draft a DE and use James Hall as depth, which isn't so bad. He's up there in age, so I really don't think he can continue to take snap after snap, but if he comes in fresh a down or two, he can contribute. Can't wait until the draft.

Chad has disappointed me, along with thousands of other fans. Who stuck by his side during his TD celebration antics, saying how he was different then the TO's and Moss's of the league. Now he's sadly one of them.

Now he's sadly one of them. Seriously, there's nothing wrong with being the "TO's and Moss's" of the league. I do believe both of those guys absolutely crushed their competition in 2007 and are both very happy to be in their current situations. Chad Johnson wants to be on a team where he has a legitimate chance to win. Cincinnati is a terrible organization who STILL has not figured out that having such a god awful defense is a bad idea.

He signed the contract, he should suck it up and deal with it.

He signed the contract, he should suck it up and deal with it. You know as well as anyone does that an NFL contract is mostly Monopoly money anyways. It doesn't happen often that a player signs a big-time contract and ends up keeping that contract until it expires.

Well, I concur that NFL contracts are lame. BUT, he knew that when he signed it.

TRW, I agree, but this is the way the world is now of sports. Contracts arent sacred, they are hindrances in some cases, it is really sad.
Like I said before, the NFL and NBA are jokes when it comes to caps, contracts etc. It really is sad.

I like Chad Johnson, and I hate people doing what hes doing, but the point is...everyone does it...every sport, when they want out, they bitch and moan and angle for a trade.
He's just doing what the Randy Moss's, Terrell Owen's, Wily Mo Pena's etc of the world have done

People are singling out Chad Johnson because he's being vocal about his displeasure, rather than just sitting out. Michael Strahan held out last year, Lance Briggs did it, Asante Samuel did it, the list goes on and on...
Chad Johnson has no criminal record (at least in the NFL or college - I don't know about prior to that), he's a very good player, he works his ass off, and he donates a bunch of money to charity.
Why should Chad Johnson want to be on a team where you never know which of your teammates is going to be arrested and suspended on any given week? Where your coach is supposed to be some sort of "defensive mastermind" and the defense is arguably the worst in the league?... He's in a horrible situation in Cincinnati, he doesn't want to be around the idiots in that lockerroom, the coaching staff, or the management.
I don't blame him at all.

there are still other ways to go about it then to air it all in the public and continue to bojangle for the media until you get your way.
i know that cj isn't the only person to do it, but it seems like more people come to his aid because 2 years ago everyone was on his jock for doing the same crapowens was doing only he got labeled as "having fun" while owens was labeled as "cocky" or a "locker room cancer". what is the difference between the two? other then chad not throwing palmer under the bus (even though he has just without naming names) i don't see any...
