As far as you or Kliquid or anyone else who wants to ridicule my prediction, I have been known to know a little something. I did predict the Browns to make the playoffs last season......after being ridiculed and told that the Browns traded the #1 overall pick in 2008 to the Cowboys. I also predicted that Colt Brennan would be drafted, eventhough a few people said he would not be. And I also stated that the Jets had as much of a chance as TB in getting Favre and not to buy into those rumors from 2 days ago.....that it was all but a done deal. ... The Browns didn't make the playoffs last year. And I'm not "ridiculing" your prediction. I just don't think the Jets are in a good situation. Aside from the obvious that they have to be in the Patriots division, they're also still running a 3-4 defense with mostly 4-3 personnel. The Jets do have a fairly easy schedule outside of playing the Patriots, though.

Shame, really. What I was trying to say is that they were far from one of the worst teams in the league. Yes the Jets have to play the Pats and the Pats are still one of the best teams in the league with the best QB in the league. But all teams have a full season to watch the Pats offense and make adjustments. The Giants found holes and were able to exploit. I still dont think you can stop the Pats......but you might be able to contain them. Besides, they face NE twice. They can make up a loss or 2 from other games. As fas their defense, Mangini made adjustments, one of the reasons he moved Vilma. Meh....I dont know. I'm not a fan of it.....and I certainly dont agree with it.......but this is an area that I can admit that I know enough about to really say much at all. I liked Vilma, but Mangini wanted 3-4 defense. Probably the biggest reason for the overhaul, drafting Gholston and bringing in Jenkins. Though I still think Gholston is a bust. Hopefully not....but thats what I see.

What I was trying to say is that they were far from one of the worst teams in the league. They didn't deserve to get in. They weren't beating the teams that playoff teams should be beating --- Cincinnatti, Arizona, Oakland... You can't legitimately say they "deserved" to be in the playoffs when they were losing to garbage teams like that.

Your predictions arent YOUR predictions, everyone and their mom predicted the Browns to be improved and going towards the playoffs, NO ONE said Colt Brennan would go undrafted...NO ONE...you stated the Jets had a chance at Favre...gee I wonder why BECAUSE IT WAS ALL OVER THE NEWS FOR THE LAST MONTH.
These arent YOUR predictions, your future predicting skills arent all that fantastic, these arent bold or anything really special. Frankly, you sound very pompous and arrogant saying "I know a little something" because you know how to jump on what Chris Mortensen or Mel Kiper Jr say and thats about it.
The Jets can make the playoffs, sure they can, but they will not win 10 games or be within 4 of the Patriots and if they do make the playoffs, they will lose in the first round very easily.
Patriots went 18-1 and lost Asante Samuel and Donte Stallworth and actually got younger on defense....yup, def a team on the decline.

I still think the Patriots have to be the favorites to win the Superbowl next year.

I still think the Patriots have to be the favorites to win the Superbowl next year. Nope the Jets are, They have an overrated over the hill INT machine leading them to the promise land. Seriously Asante Samuel should've stayed in the AFC East, can you imagine all the INT's he'd get offa Favre? He'd double his contract from the Eagles no doubt

You....YOU said the Browns traded the Cowboys the overall #1 pick. You did. Now, everyone predicted the Browns to have a good season. WTF ever. Keep lying to yourself. Pats went 16-0 last season and reached the Super Bowl. Anything less this season......they are on the decline. You heard it here first.....Raplho predicts back to back 16-0 seasons!!! Mark it down. Dont act all high and mighty. You are so condescending, its absurd. Its no fun trying to debate anything with you. Because you want everything to turn into a bloodfest and then just make things up. Sure, the NY media said the Jets were in the running. Whoopie. And when everyone (as in most people) were talking about Tampa being very close, I said dont count the Jets out. I wasmocked on this board for even thinking Brett would land in NY and now all of the sudden, I wasnt in the minority......I was in the majority.

I never mocked anyone for thinking he was going anywhere... I pretty much kept my nose out of this one, because, for once; I actually was completely speechless on the whole matter.

All I am trying to say is that Ralpho treats me and most others outside a select few like they are complete and total retards. And even when they actually make an intelligent point.......he refuses to credit them. Its what makes it no fun. Its like arguing with a wall. I'm not stupid and I recognize guys like Ralpho and Kliquid know more about pro sports in most areas than I do. But it doesnt mean I am a moron and that I cant intelligently form an opinion or actually add something constructive to topics.

I admit trading a #1 pick to the Cowboys was a bad idea, and I was wrong but dont make it sound like your predictions are bold and amazing because they arent and they arent even yours so grow up and stop whining. You act arrogant when you say "I know a little something"...or maybe its the truth...you know a little....of something....thats it....a little. Anyways, fine, I'll say it. Patriots 16-0 this year.

I'm going to give a shot in the dark prediction and say Chad Pennington will either be signed by the Miami Dolphins or Minnesota Vikings.

Bubba man, that sig has got to be the dumbest thing i've ever seen.
Showstopper you really shouldn't be throwing around the word "cockiness", considering you have quite a few "cocky" pics of yourself floating around, with you holding up and a fake title belt in "jesus" like poses. come on now.
The Jets are still gonna stink, Favre or not. 8-8 at best, and trust me here i'm usually the LAST person to say anything good about Ralpho, but he's making a fool out of you. stop before you lose what little credibility yo have left.
Also,Any word on who the Chiefs are gonna play at QB this year? i haven't really heard anything regarding it. I'd assume it would be Croyle, but like i said i haven't heard anything about it.

This preseason game on ESPN tonight is probably the most painful game I've ever seen. The network really has to do something about this commentary team. Kornheiser and Jaworski are painful in the same booth.
