Sorry if it's in the wrong board- but, next year is 30 years of The Deadman. Do you think this is why the Undertaker's been sticking around the last few years? I think it's monumental that he's been around for that long and is still a top draw.

True, I mean he'll never not be a top draw. But yes, 30 years is incredible. I don't know how he could go through all the physicality over the years, especially on his knees with all those tombstones and the weight of 2 large men directly on his knees. Dang.

I don’t think he stuck around to get to 30 years. He’ll likely still be around in some capacity beyond 30 years. But you can bet your bottom dollar that they will do some sort of celebration to mark the occasion.
It’ll also mark 30 years that I’ve been watching wrestling. The first match I ever saw was his WWE debut at Survivor Series.

I made a similar thread a while back and it was full of rude comments from users who want him to retire and basically ignored the fact that he's 1 year from making history.

I would say he should have a retirement match at Survivor Series 2020 and then be inducted in the HOF before WM 37(hopefully in LA where he had his first WM match), but he is too broken down and should not wrestle at all. Maybe next year he gets inducted being that it might be in Florida where he lives.

Couldn't we have this thread next year? So it's really just the 29th year of the Undertaker.

Much respect for the Undertaker I’ve watched him since the beginning and was always my favorite. I get to live my dream to meet him at the end of the month!
