Just 61 years old. He was supposed to be at the Indy show I attended last month but he cancelled last minute. Now I know why. Loved his runs in WWF and WCCW. 2019 is just 3 months in and already it's been real tough for us old school fans.
Let's all give a 5!!!in his honor. RIP King Kong Bundy

We lose TV Icons like Katherine Helmond and Luke Perry, we lose the lead singer of Prodigy, and now we lose King Kong Bundy.
I know each year we say, "this year sucks, so and so has died" but the thing is, as each year goes on, this is going to be a larger and larger reoccurring trend. We get older, they get older.... they eventually die.
*sigh*
It's gonna be weird one day when we pop in an old Wrestlemania and say, "Wow... every single person on this event is now dead...."

RIP big guy! he is one of my top 20 favs! LOVED him back in the day. after hulk/piper/mtv, it was hogan/andre vs studd/bundy, then hulk/orndorff vs studd/bundy, then hulk vs bundy, then machines vs studd/bundy as the top attraction to wrestling for me in 1986. hulk, andre, studd, bundy, orndorff, machines were my wrestling in '86. Very Sad!

Sad news. I am surprised he was only 61 I thought he was older. Same. That means he was mid 20's at Wrestlemania 1. I thought he was like 40 back the .

I'm surprised that Eric and wcw never brought him in during the Monday night wars. As a former big wwf name and recent roster member he fit the usual choice they went for and whether he was any good in the rimg wasn't a massive issue - yeti, loch Ness etc

I actually thought Bundy was older. So he was in his late 20s @ WM2? whoa. Enjoyed Bundy as a monster heel....enjoyed his appearances on Married With Children as one of Peggys Cousins too.....LOL.
R.I.P. Big man.
