Was this the "huge" breaking announcement scheduled for today? Not really that big if you ask me. WrestleMania is still WrestleMania, regardless of where they host it. It could take place on the Moon and it wouldn't make any real difference to me. Perhaps I'm just thinking selfishly, but I was expecting bigger news.
Logo is certainly unique though.

Meh, as someone from outside the USA, I couldn't care less where they have it. Honestly, I could probably only tell you which state 3 or 4 Manias in history were held.

I actually like the logo with the pirate sword and flag. Pretty different Jack Sparrow 3:16 says i just whopped your a**. Is this not a play on the Buckaneers? Very strange. Could be a shot at AEW's Jacksonville stuff, but also is Vince's XFL competition. Could be entirely tone deaf. |

Excited for Tampa. It's a 4 hour drive from me. I'm going this year but I can't do any of the other Mania week events because of my schedule. So hopefully I can do like a Thursday to Tuesday next year. Plus having my car and no flights is a win.

I think they're crazy for doing New Jersey in April this year but Chicago would be a bigger gamble with the weather. Edward Jones in St. Louis is probably a more realistic midwest location. Especially since it will be an XFL location. |
