I worked the overnight shift at walmart 9 yrs ago. There was a fresh case of Elite series 5 that I manage to grab but I had to wait till 7am to buy them. It was the only Elite series I manage to get before most ppl in my area. I left the job soon after but they used to stock way better back then though I will say that and were pretty on par with the series release dates.

Love how the same trolls in this thread just can’t help themselves🙄. Don’t think there’s a limit. I know of two target employees that told me straight up they hold cases and look though them and pick through them first. If they’re a collector I guess it’s no biggie but if they are flipping it, it’s kinda shady. Hot wheels and pops, people get all kinds of criminal lol.

I worked there for a long ass time, money is money they don’t care. It’s a perc for their employees who work a crappy job. When I was like 18, I was buying entire cases of zhu zhu pets and selling them on eBay. I paid for my entire trip to Wrestlemania 24 in orlando from that Christmas. Hell my buddy bought every single fall con funko exclusive and got a slap on the wrists because one person complained.

I used to work in Smyths Toys for a number of years in the warehouse/delivery bay. Any new stock that came in I would open up the case, remove what I wanted and put to one side to purchase at a later date.
The managers knew and had no issues with it, with a loose rule on how quickly I bought them. Like if the figures were still in the back after a few weeks it was "Buy them today or put them out."
But this was back in 2012-2013 where supply wasn't as big a deal as it seems to be now. It was a rarity to find only one of a certain wrestler per case and even if that did happen, we usually got about 6-8 cases of a new series in anyway, with more cases in a few days later.
I do remember a few figures being a bit limited, like CM Punk's first short haired Elite, or the Edge and Christian flashbacks, in their Attitude Era attires, Shawn Michaels in his Badd Blood 97 attire. But there was still enough of these that a few weeks would go by and there was still at least a couple on display.
