Vince is going a bit racial in this storyline. It’s risque. I think if it’s handled right they can do it. They’re skirting it barely without saying it That’s the right way to go. |

this is what happens when they dont have a runover....they actually have a good promo going and have to awkwardly cut it short because the TV is going away in X minutes...
that was just a weird, random and rushed ending to what should have been a major moment

im really fine with all this to be honest. the storyline is classic easy stuff. and people actually LIKE Kofi and WANT to see him get this push.
This is how you build a guy up, it happens organically and then you take it and run with it. All the other guys they've had the deck stacked against and who've had to fight like 5 on 1 matches and stuff its watered down because you dont want the guy to win anyway but you know they are just doing it for the story
this is something completely different and it almost feels like they DONT have it planned out completely which is great for a change.
i'm 100% on board the Kofi as WWE Champion train. im enjoying this build and i really hope they do the right thing and let him get that big win.

If he goes to Mania a cool thing throughout the night would be if big time black wrestlers from the past stopped by his locker room and told him how important this is. Like Booker T first. Then Ron Simmons stopping to give him a talk about becoming the first black WCW champ. And then The Rock visits him last and gives him the pep talk of all pep talk like only the Rock can. It would make it feel EXTRA important. |
