U guys think all the matches will be on the main programme or do you think the U.K. title may be on the pre show? Takeover doesn’t have pre-show matches like that lol. They tape a match or two before the event for the following weeks episode of NXT |

Why isn’t this called Takeover: Brooklyn 5? 🤔🤔🤔 The "5" makes it sound old. Anyway, the "Brooklyn" shows were all held before Summerslam so maybe they want to make that distinction to keep them separate? |

Why isn’t this called Takeover: Brooklyn 5? 🤔🤔🤔 They’re trying to sell the whole weekend as “New York”. They can’t even be bothered to say New Jersey when talking about MetLife. It was referred to as “the shadow of NYC”. |

Card looks okay its a shame that so many of the guy on the card have been called up to the main roster so I don't expect them to win their matches at TakeOver.
Cannot stand Riddle, no matter how good he is in the ring his personality is that of an unlikable RVD.

That only leaves Ricochet and Black, who are in the same match. I also wouldn't be surprised if they did put the belts on them to "show them off" on the main roster and maybe get a bit more attention on the yellow brand. |

They tape a match or two before the event for the following weeks episode of NXT Yh I’m not sure why I thought it tbh most takeovers are 4/5 matches long n Gargano n Cole should go a good distance so thought if any of the matches it would be that one but hell yeah I want it on the main card I’m from Birmingham U.K. Pete Dunne is my guy!! |

I am so pumped for this show, Gargano and Cole are going to tear the house down!!!
Also do you think that they need to start giving these NXT "specials" their own name, the Take Over thing is a bit old for me at this point. Although with the way the WWE names things these days maybe it is a bad idea lol. Although as this is NXT, they would maybe get away using some classic PPV names like Great American Bash, Halloween Havoc and so on?

It would just dilute them to have them every month, much less naming them all individually. As it stands, they are reminiscent of Saturday Night's Main Event or Clash of the Champions. Not seen regularly, and when they were, it was on broadcast TV/basic cable, respectively. Right now, the Network cost is so low, it may as well be free TV or basic cable. I don't think they should mess with the current formula. |

I like that they even cut down to only 4 TakeOver events a year. I really wish WWE cut down to 4-5 Pay-Per-Views a year. TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT! 4-5 Takeovers a year is prefect.As far as the main roster goes I think they should go back to 12 PPV's per year and cut down the lengths of all of them.The non big 4 shows should be NXT:Takeover lengths like 2 to 2 1/2 hours long and the non Wrestlemania's should be 3 and Wrestlemania 4. As far as the show goes tonight think Dunne/WALTER will be MOTN and we could possibly have three MOTY contenders with Dunne/WALTER,Gargano/Cole & Dream/Riddle. |
