So once we've had the first Women Main Event at WrestleMania, how frequently do you think they will main event again? WrestleMania only comes once a year, and a big reason they're marketing it is because it's the "first time". But we've had a laundry list of first time women's matches (HIAC, Elimination Chamber, Royal Rumble, MITB, etc.). So, once that has been done at WrestleMania, do you think it'll happen again? Every other WM? Every 10 years? Let's say 1/5 of the matches at WM are women's matches, then would 1 in 5 years be justified? Should it be proportionate to the relative amount of men and women on the roster? I'd like to get your opinions.

If there is going to be a pattern, I think once every three years is reasonable. But every Mania should be headlined by the biggest match on the card. This year it just happens to be the RAW Women's Title. If this happens again in six years, then that's when they should take center stage again. Just like if the hottest angle next year involves women again, it should be next year. I have the faith in the division that this won't be their only main event, though.

I’ll say every 5 years. They’re not going to stumble into the women having the hottest wrestler and hottest feud every year. Also, a healthy Reigns isn’t going to be out of the main event all too often. It won’t be done just for the sake of it. They’ve earned it and deserve it this year, and that’s why they got it.

If anything they’ll go back to multiple main events. Not sure how often a woman match will close it again.

Next Women's Mania main event will probably be WWE HorseWomen vs MMA HorseWomen in about 3-5 years.
Ronda will probably leave this year, have a kid, raise it for a year or two before coming back for the storlyine. Baszler will burn out in the singles department, so this will give her something to do. Other 2 will hopefully be ready by then.
WWE HorseWomen will do their thing leading up to it.

Depends on how many WrestleManias Ronda is apart of. The women will never main event again without her.

There is absolutely no reason for there to be any type of pattern. The main event of WrestleMania should be the most important main event-level match on the card, which the audience are invested in. This year for the very first time, it was the women. Becky has been the biggest star in WWE for the past 7 months. Ronda brings mainstream attention. Charlotte has been consistently one of the best in the company for the past 3 years. All three of those elements combine into easily by far the biggest match on the card.
They shouldn't say "we had the women main event this year, so next year we should have the men main event", or "women should main event every three years". They should just book the shows as normal, and then a few weeks before Mania each year, decide which match is the most important on the card and have that main event. Gender doesn't matter, it's all about which match is the most important.

Said it before, Da Big Dawg will be main eventing for the next 10-15 years. Unless unbelievable circumstances present themselves that are too good to pass up. Don't know if there are any bigger women of the outside world that could draw the media's attention though (except Ivanka T.). The regular roster sure as hell won't get there by themselves.

I and I'm sure a lot of people already knew at the start of last year especially with Ronda signing we were going to get the first ever Women's main event to close out WrestleMania. We had all the first ever bases covered-Women's PPV, Women's Royal Rumble, Women's Elimination Chamber match, WWE Women's Tag Team championships etc....It naturally had to complete the course and come full circle with the biggest event of the year having the biggest first ever with the Women's WrestleMania main event. And the timing couldn't be better with the white-hot rise of Becky Lynch that lined up the stars perfectly and gave fans a match that people really want to see close out the show with how popular her character has become and how much fans are behind her. Not like I trust in WWE at all lol, but hopefully they can find a way to keep Becky just as strong going into next year without watering down her character, fans growing tired or bored, making her more lean back again towards comedy or happy go lucky, or real things like injury. And if they call-up and build Shaya Baszler the right way as a monster heel slicing through the Women's roster leading a path to Becky, and possibly Ronda thrown into the mix, you could def. have an argument to give us back-to-back years of a Women's WrestleMania main event probably.

There shouldn’t be a pattern, the best match should always go on last. Doesn’t necessarily have to be a world title match either (WM 18). This year it just happened to be the perfect storm with Rousey still new and hot and Becky Lynch’s current run combined with Romans injury and the men’s storylines being hot garbage...IMO these 3 women are the only 3 on the main roster that could possibly justify main eventing a Wrestlemania. So it’s a combination of having another perfect storm will decide when women main event

IMO, it will only happen as long as Rousey is around. None of the other women have the mainstream appeal as her.

I want no pattern. Hottest match should main event, period. No need to throw in premade schedules to have to work around.

It's an impossible question to answer for me. Gender shouldn't matter. The match with the hottest feud, best storyline and most attention should main event. Not just because women.

It's not rocket science, it's simply a case by case scenario. This match has the most hype and the most build towards it. People are excited for it, even though a few men feel like their masculinity has been challenged.

It's only the main event because of the star power Ronda Rousey brings to this match.
If it was just Charlotte vs. Becky, do you actually think it would be the last match on the card?? Hell no!
If Ronda sticks around in the WWE for years to come, I can see another women's main event. But if Ronda is done soon?? No way will it ever happen again.

IMO, it will only happen as long as Rousey is around. None of the other women have the mainstream appeal as her. None of the men do either, outside of Cena (who is basically done) and Lesnar (who may be done after this year). The purpose of this match is to elevate Charlotte and Becky, so they’re on the same level as Reigns/Bryan/Rollins etc. It’s certainly possible that Becky Lynch vs Shayna Baszler could be the hottest match next year over Rollins vs McIntyre or Reigns vs Bryan or whatever.
