As far as in ring performers who put on instant classics, who has the potential to be the next "Mr WrestleMania"? Or the next Ms WrestleMania?
My list would be:
Seth Rollins Charlotte Flair Johnny Gargano Ricochet Velveteen Dream

I think you're right about Flair and Rollins.

People already compare Rollins to HBK anyway as far as putting on 5 star matches so that being said Rollins or hell it could even be AJ Styles or Kofi

Charlotte Flair, Sonya Deville and Dakota Kai.

Definitely not Gargano. He’s not going to get the same opportunities on the main roster as he did in NXT. Even though he can be entertaining and put on really good matches, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a five star match from Rollins. The women’s division has grown stale. They deserve the main event because they truly have the best storyline heading into Mania but what are we going to see in the coming years? You can only have Alexa, Charlotte, Bayley, Becky, and Sasha (Ronda too if she sticks around) feud with each other so many times. No else seems to be on their level, stepping up, or getting pushed. Rick O’Shea or Dream both have the biggest potential from what was listed in OP.

I can't see anyone becoming the next showstopper. The role hasn't really been filled since Mania 26 after Shawn was done. Unless Vince and WWE start actually booking people to their strengths, I think the roster will turn into a beige mashup with no one on top over anyone else.

AJ Styles could have been if he had went to the WWE sooner than when he did.
But probably Seth Rollins will be. The dude delivers each year.

He certainly stops me from watching the show, so there's that.

Not sure why people are saying Rollins. To this point his WM career is pretty up and down...
WM29 - Good 6-man tag but nothing memorable.
WM30 - 6-man tag where The Shield squashed their opponents in under 5 minutes.
WM31 - Solid match with Orton but it’s mainly remembered for the finish. Same with the cash-in to close the night.
WM32 - Missed due to injury.
WM33 - Boring match with HHH that most agree went too long.
WM34 - Great triple threat match with Finn and Miz.
I’d say he has one great match at WM34, two solid matches at WM29 and 31, a forgettable match at WM30, and a terrible match at WM33. He can obviously turn it around but he hasn’t done much to claim the “showstopper” name yet.

I would say on the main roster right now it'll be Charlotte.Have a very good triple threat match at WM 32,While the fourway at WM 33 was okay,WM 34 had in my eyes a top ten MOTY against Askua and this year main event and more then likely having another MOTY contender.

I can't be more disappointed at the lack of consideration they gave Dolph Ziggler at WrestleMania. He could have had a great legacy of WM matches, but he never had a singles match at WrestleMania out of 9!

No one, there will never be anybody else that would create a buzz/excitement for their WrestleMania performance like HBK did. Not sure why people are saying Rollins. I'd say Gargano cuz he can actually tell a story when it comes to having a match. Flair and Rollins can't seem to do that.

Gargano vs Cole at takeover was the only WWE produced 5.5 star rated match.... ever....
of course you could say it's very biased because wwe/f on got a handful of high rated matches compared to other companies.
And NxT has 3 - 5 star matches compared to WWE's (post name change) 1... ever... although WWF has 4
but if you look at the wrestlers involved it is telling. Nxt Takeover New Orleans had the ladder match with Cole, EC3, Dain, Sullivan, Ricochet, and the Velveteen Dream. It also had Gargano vs Ciampa. NxT Takeover Philadelphia had Cien Almas vs Gargano.
until those matches the last 5 star was in 2011 - Money in the Bank CM Punk vs John Cena.
But match style and production is a big part. Because if you count wrestlers that are in WWE now. the 5 star list includes WALTER vs Zack Sabre Jr. at PWG All Star Weekend in 2017 Keith Lee vs Donovan Dijak PWG Battle of Los Angeles 2017 KUSHIDA vs Will Ospreay NJPW Best of Super Juniors 2017 Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Shinsuke Nakamura NJPW G1 Climax 2015 Shinsuke Nakamura vs Kota Ibushi NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 9 2015 Kenta Kobashi vs Samoa Joe ROH in 2005 AJ Styles vs Christopher Daniels vs Samoa Joe triple threat TNA Unbreakable 2005 Samoa Joe vs CM Punk ROH 2004 Rey Misterio Jr vs Juventud Guerrera ECW 1996
So, out of that whole list the 5 star and above club is Adam Cole Johnny Gargano EC3 Killian Dane Lars Sullivan Ricochet The Velveteen Dream Tommaso Ciampa WALTER Keith Lee KUSHIDA Shinsuke Nakamura John Cena AJ Styles Samoa Joe Rey Mysterio
Now, if you just look more recent - say last 3 years 2017-2019 and giving consistently good matches - 4 star and above The most consistent high level wrestlers for the past 3 years who are currently in WWE top 11 - Tied 8th Adam Cole, Dean Ambrose, Samoa Joe and Tommaso Ciampa (8 high rated matches) 7th Matt Riddle (9 high rated matches) 6th Aleister Black (10 high rated matches) 5th Seth Rollins (11 high rated matches) 4th Johnny Gargano (13 high rated matches) 3rd AJ Styles (14 high rated matches) 2nd KUSHIDA (16 high rated matches) 1st Ricochet (21 high rated matches)
so, in the end i'd say Ricochet... because he's close to averaging a 4 star match or higher once a month or every PPV.

Honestly I laugh that HBK is considered “Mr WrestleMania” because I think he had two stand out match’s at WrestleMania prior to him “losing his smile” and maybe two post his return. Everything else all blends together.
