Is she really as over as people are making out? I don’t think it even compares to Daniel Bryan in 2014 in terms of fan support, it feels more and more forced as each week goes by. Eager to hear how everyone else feels?

She is over but not 100%. Myself and others have all stated how we don’t like her as much compared to late last year but that’s partially because of WWE ruining something that was organic. If they left out the knee injury, getting arrested etc it would’ve been much better leading up to Mania but the build up for the main event has been a complete clusterf*ck. But WWE redeemed themselves with the whole Kofi/Bryan feud so 🤷🏽♂️

She was one of the hottest (fan response) acts when she first turned heel last year. People were p*ssed that she couldn't face BIG RONDA at Survivor Series. The closer to Wrestlemania it became, the forced watered-down Stone Cold-ish act killed all the spontaneity she had, just like every other natural occurrence Creative decides to take over and not just ignore.

They are trying to make her like the female Steve Austin.... but it's not working.
All Becky had to do was be Becky. I am personally tired of her. Not her wrestling, or her in general, but I am tired of the way the WWE is writing her to be this 'bad ass' when she's not. She's the underdog, Becky Balboa!

You can't compare her to Bryan. Fans supported Bryan to troll The Authority and it was also proven that he wasn't a draw. The PPV's he main evented had poor buy rates and his action figures rotted on pegs. Look at him now for example fans happily boo his character and have accepted his current position. People still cheered Rock, Austin and HHH when they were heels so i Bryan was such a popular face then why don't they do the same?
Becky on the other hand is the total package. Fans have always supported her and have made her what she is today. The Women's division needs a hero and Charlotte and Rousey weren't cut out for it so Becky is the perfect choice.

People still cheered Rock, Austin and HHH when they were heels so i Bryan was such a popular face then why don't they do the same? Becky on the other hand is the total package. Disagree with this, if it was only about the Authority, people would have accepted Batista as returning hero to dethrone Orton at Mania. She needs the big win over Ronda. People cant buy her as The Man when she was tapping out to Natalya on Smackdown in less than 2 minutes a couple years ago and tapping out to Asuka at Royal Rumble.

She's over but shes not like "biggest name in the company" over. The iron was hot about 4 months ago, the lack of an attention span from most wrestling fans have cooled her off. She'll win the title. She'll get the big pops for a week, especially with the marky Mania week crowd, but it will eventually dwindle back to reality. She'll probably have either dropped the title or hot shotted it before SummerSlam.
That being said, I think its hilarious how everyone trashed Road Warrior Animal saying Becky needed to be a white hot baby face and that's essentially what the fans made her.

If they put Asuka in the main event out of the blue, people would cheer for her over Becky. That's how these fans work. They're immediate and they're anything anti-Flair, anti-Vince Push. Has nothing to do with Becky herself.
Plus, doesn't Asuka have a clean submission victory over Lynch on a major PPV? ... how is she even The Man? Just bad storytelling.

As TV crowd reactions go, she’s the most consistently popular baby face the last few months. That usually doesn’t necessarily mean anything about how much of a draw a wrestler is, though. She might just be a flash in the pan, but she’s got the biggest stage of them all to establish herself as a headliner for good.

Her Funko pop was the #1 best selling toy on Amazon, for what it’s worth.
I think the fans like to cheer whoever isn’t being pushed. Once Becky wins the belt and is established as top dog, the fans will turn on her, they always do.
